I have had been called things
These past few months
Like an atheist
Stupid
Among other things
All because I spell one word differently

G-d

I haven't been affected by the name calling
But just been wondering
Why people are so uneducated
If it's something they don't understand
Wouldn't it be a point to learn?

I'm not an atheist
Though I see nothing wrong with
Someone being one
Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs

I am definitely far from stupid
What does a different spelling of a word
Have to do with intelligence anyways?

What I am, however,
Is Jewish
We spell the word as
G-d
Not God
Why?
Because

The Doctrines of Judaism is Monotheistic:
*Belief in 1 G-d.
*Jews believe the word is holy and therefore do not write it completely.
*Each person has their own personal, unique, & individual relationship with G-d.

I have my own personal relationship
With HaShem, our G-d Adonai
It isn't one of religion
But spirituality

I don't have to explain myself to anyone
I just wish people were smart enough
To research for themselves
Before they opened their mouths
Via keyboard and inserted both feet

How I write it, how I say it
How I believe, what I believe
Any and all of it is between
Him and I

No one else's business
This is an A and B conversation

Educate yourself on the way out
