To grow up
A kid should really be a kid
For as long as time permits
Miniskirts
Nail polish
Lipstick
On a girl who hasn't hit puberty
Child adult
There must be a limit
For what is allowed for kids to do
It's not cute
To do a mani/pedi
Mommy and daughter day
When the little girl is 3
Give her toys
Read her books
Teach her the map of the world
Dress up? Sure
As in for fun
Not an everyday occurrence
A child should not own
A smartphone before they
Can ride a bike
No matter how cool it is
There are too many responsibilities
Being an adult
Take away the gadgets
Learn about the earth
Planting gardens
Trips to museums
Cultures and such
That's a rich childhood development
Playing in the mud at 3
Baking cookies with mom
Learning to swim
Flying a kite
Petting a goat
The zoo
Disneyworld
Innocence can only be saved
Protected if parents step in
That's what builds memories
Not the latest iPhone game or tweet
Slow down
Time, life flies by as is
Way too fast
Those remembered in diapers
Graduate high school and move
Onto college
A child should be a child
No shame or blame in that
That way they'll become adults
On time, not before time
