The female slaps his leg at the comment as he takes another bite of the dessert.

"So, do you like it Aiko?" Emi questions.

"It's really good, I love it! Thank you all so much."

"It was no problem at all. Quiet the opposite actually, it was rather enjoyable to make," The blond speaks up.

"Well you didn't have to, but of course I am very grateful for such a delicious dessert!" Aiko happily takes another bite of her slice.

"Hey Aiko, while we're all here, why don't we take this chance to get to know each other more," Maou suddenly suggests.

Stopping her fork half way in her mouth, she cautiously sets it down.

"How so?"

"Well all of us don't really know that much about you and your past and stuff. So why don't you tell us a little about your self!"

"...Just me?"

"U-Uh, I can share some stuff too!" Chiho adds in, trying to help out her friend.

"We already know a lot about you Ms. Sasaki," Ashiya counters her.

"Heh, right..." she says, defeated.

"Um...well. What exactly do you guys want to know?"

Aiko fiddles with her hands in her lap. Hopefully her nerves go unnoticed by the others.

"Where did you live as a child?" Emi asks.

"U-Uh, I lived in...Tokyo,"

"Any siblings?" Maou inquires.

"No. No siblings,"

"What about your parents?"

"...Huh?"

"Your parents. Who were they?" Hara questions.

"...W-Well," Aiko fiddles with the hem of her shirt.

"I, don't know who my father is...I never got to meet him. And, uh, my mother was a surprisingly very loving woman. She really cared for me, despite what she had to go through. She unfortunately, passed away, almost a year ago. And now I am on my own..."

Her monologue was cut short by a sudden, violent boom.

"What the hell-?"

Ashiya stood up from the ground and walked over to the covered window.

Pulling the curtains to the side, everyone was now able to see the outside world.

The sky had darkened considerable with gray clouds. Torrential rain smacked against the window and building itself. The streets already filling up with water.

"How is that possible?! It was sunny a couple hours ago!" Emi exclaims.

"Its almost dinner time, how are we all suppose to get home?" Chiho dejectedly asks.

"There's no way anyone can walk out in that," Hara monotonously utters.

"If this does not let up soon, we are all going to end up staying the night here,"

"I have work tomorrow morning!" Emi cries out.

"Chi and I have work too!"

"We have the afternoon shift though Mr. Maou,"

"Alright hold on, everyone calm down," Aiko grabs the attention of all five guests.

"If this, monsoon of a rainstorm, doesn't calm down within the next, lets say three hours, you all will unfortunately will have to stay."

Everyone reluctantly nods their heads in affirmation as the girl stands up and starts collecting the dirty dishes.

"Ms. Yamagishi, do you need help with cleaning up?"

"Sure! If you don't mind, thank you Ashiya!" She smiles at him as a thanks and the two enter the kitchen.

Everyone in the living room carries on with their conversations, Urushihara still playing his game system, as usual.

Ashiya starts washing the plates, and hands them off to Aiko, who in turn dries them.

"Ms. Yamagishi, may I ask you a question?"

"Of course, whaddya need an answer to?"

"While I give you my sincerest condolences about your mother, if I may be so frank in asking, earlier you mentioned that she was a 'surprisingly kind soul', even though what she went through. Might I ask what you meant by that?"

"O-Oh, right, yeah. Well, her job wasn't exactly the most, easy one out there,"

"Normal jobs aren't,"

"While yes I agree with you there, my mother's job was a little, unconventional,"

"How do you mean?"

"Well, let's just say that it was a job that an average female, uh, Japanese person, wouldn't do,"

Ashiya seemed deep in though before return to the conversation.

"May I be so bold as ask what her name was?"

"Her name?" Aiko thought about her mother's name, and in turn started reminiscing about the woman, losing herself in her memories. A bright smile etched its way onto her face.

"Oh her name was really pretty. I always loved saying it out loud whenever she wasn't around. Kynara-...!"

*Bang! Clatter, clatter!*

Aiko's heart stopped for a moment, and she jolted in surprise at the sudden, loud sound beside her.

Ashiya had dropped the plate he was holding in the sink, hands still hovering in front of him, a lost look in his eyes.

'Oh no...I completely forgot who I was talking to,"

The entire apartment was silent, except for the sound of the pouring rain. All eyes were locked onto the tall man. Even Urushihara looked up from his game to stare.

"Uh, Ashiya?" Maou calls out to his best friend.

The blond blinks a few times before shaking his head and turning to bow slightly at the woman beside him.

"My sincerest apologies Ms. Yamagishi. My hands had slipped, it will never happen again, I promise," he turns back to the sunk and picks the plate that had dropped back up, continuing to wash it as if nothing happened.

'...Crap. I said too much didn't I?'
