The three boys go back to what they were doing before they heard a few thumps and a loud groan.

"Huh, it sounds like she made it half way down the stairs this time," Maou comments as he opens his new manga book.

"Baby steps Emi, baby steps," Urushihara mocks.

The next day, Emi kept her word and visited the boy's living quarters with Chiho by her side.

Of the desserts Urushihara listed off to the gang, they all decided to try their hands at a Japanese style rare cheesecake.

After mixing the batter, Suzuno had to run back over to her apartment to grab a cake pan, as the guys' didn't own one.

"Raspberries," a bored voice sounded as the fridge door opened.

"Huh?" Chiho questioned. He closes the fridge and walks over to her, handing her a plastic container of said fresh fruit.

"She loves raspberries. Put some on the cake," he walks back over to his computer.

"You know, you could help!" Emi yelled at him.

"Yeah sure, like you guys would let me anywhere near the food! Don't say stupid shit Emi,"

"Language," Ashiya barks at him.

"Whatever, mom"

"You know you're comin' to Aiko's place too, Urushihara," Maou states matter of factly.

"W-What?!" Both he and Emi said together. Even Ashiya looked rather surprised.

"I thought he wasn't allowed to leave the building?!"

"You would have been right a couple of days ago Ms. Yusa. But I learned from my dad that after a certain period of time, if the suspect(s) of a minor crime aren't found, they are overlooked. So Mr. Urushihara can go outside now!"

"Chi mentioned that to me at work yesterday. Therefore, he's coming with us,"

"Plus, it would definitely look less conspicuous if we all went as a group, without leaving him behind and not having an answer as to why he could not come," Ashiya adds.

"And also Ms. Aiko seems to have bonded with him the most! She would love him to be there!"

The purple haired boy took the high schoolers words to heart. Noting how she just admitted to Aiko liking him the most out of everyone.

It made him feel warm inside. A feeling that he hasn't felt in a long, long time.

Aiko sits on her futon in her living room, feet propped up on her small dining table, an old edition of a popular manga magazine laying in her lap.

'I officially love this Saiki character. Good job Maou,"

She thinks to herself as she adjusts her reading glasses.
