Chapter 20

Summer's POV

Right now me and Freddy are at the skatepark trying to find Tomika. We are not having any luck but it's good to spend time with Freddy. My thoughts were interrupted by freddy talking

Freddy: do you think we'll find her

Summer: I don't know. It's like she doesn't want to be found

I then start to tear up and Freddy pulls me into a side hug and I bury my head into the side of him and I calm down. I then take my head out of Freddy's side

Summer: what are we going to do if we can't find her

Freddy: sum breathe we'll find her ok. We won't stop looking till we do

Summer: ok

Me and Freddy then continue to look for Tomika but we don't so we make our way back to raven academy and once we are there we see josh, Zack and Lawrence and it looks like they are freaking out

Summer: what's going on guys

Zack: Tomika wasn't as the dance studio

Lawrence: or the recording studio

Freddy: she wasn't at the skatepark either

Josh: I have no idea...

Summer: josh what you thinking

Josh: why didn't I think of this before

Summer, Freddy, Zack and Lawrence: think of what

Josh: the treehouse her father built her

Lawrence: do you know where it is

Josh: no she never showed me she would always talk about it though

Zack: how are we supposed to find her if we don't know where her treehouse is

Josh: Zack relax we'll find her

Zack: what if we don't. What if...

Zack was cut off by his phone going off

ON TEXT

Tomika: zackie you there

Zack: I'm always here babe

Tomika: can we meet

Zack: of course

Tomika: alone

Zack: ok where

Tomika: you know the place

Zack: graveyard

Tomika: yeah

Zack: ok be there in 5

Tomika: ok

Summer: was that Tomika Zack

Zack: yeah she wants to meet me

Lawrence: where

Zack: graveyard but she wants to meet alone

Josh: Zack make sure she's ok

Zack: I will

And with that Zack goes to the graveyard to meet Tomika

Zack's POV

Right now I am waiting at the graveyard for Tomika. 5 minutes later she walks up to me and buried her head in my chest and she bursts out crying

Zack: babe are you ok

Tomika then shakes her head

Zack: babe why did you tell me about your rare condition

Tomika then gets her phone out

Zack: babe I will never see you as weak

• I feel vulnerable -Tomika•

Zack: babe why don't we go back to the others

Tomika then nods her head and we make our way back to the others and they noticed us walk in

Summer: tomix are you ok

Tomika then shakes her head and I pull her close to my chest whilst I'm rubbing her back. Tomika then pulls away from my chest and grabs her notebook and writes something. As soon as she finished writing it she showed us and it said

My voice is never coming back

Josh: Mika what do you mean by your voice is never coming back

Tomika then writes something else and when she finished she showed us. It said

At my last check up my doctor said that when I lose my voice it'll be permanent

Zack: babe why didn't you tell us. Tell me about this

Tomika then writes something else. She then shows us once she has finished and it said

I'm sorry

I then pull her onto a hug and I see that she had fallen asleep on my chest so I pick her up bridal style and make my way to her dorm room with summer walking behind me. As soon as we get to her dorm I place her on her bed and changed her onto one of my t-shirts and place her covers over her. I then kiss her cheek and say good night to summer and go back to my dorm room
