Chapter 16

Zack's POV

Right now I am going through my plan for asking Tomika out. I am currently with summer, Freddy, Lawrence and josh and I am telling them my plan and they're going to give me there options. My thoughts were interrupted by josh talking

Josh: Zack don't make it so complicated just go up to her and ask her out

Zack: really

Josh: yeah girls like it when you are direct with them

Zack: ok I'm going to do it, I'm going to ask her out

Summer: you go Zack

Freddy: yeah you got this

Lawrence: she's going to say yes

And with that I make my way to her dorm room to find her awake and reading. She then notices me walk in

Tomika: hey Zack

Zack: hey Tomika, how long you been awake for

Tomika: not that long just a hour or so

Zack: not too bad then

Tomika: no it's not

Zack and tomika: there's something I need to tell you

Tomika: you go first

Zack: no you go

Tomika: ok I've been offered a place in the company

Zack: what's that

Tomika: it's a dance company that travels around the world performing

Zack: if you took it when would you leave

Tomika: tomorrow

Zack: oh

Tomika: what did you want to tell me

Zack: it's not important I'll tell you later

Tomika: ok?

And with that I leave and go back to the dance studio

Freddy: so when's the date

Zack: there's not going to be a date

Lawrence: why not

Summer: did you ask her

Zack: no she's been offered a place in the company

Josh: oh no

Summer: what's the company

Josh: a dance company that travels around the world performing, if they offered her a place then they must think she's very talented they never offer anyone a place

Summer: will she take it

Josh: I don't know. They offered her parents places in the company at the same age as Tomika and they took it

Zack: oh

Just then I see Tomika walk Into the dance studio
