Chapter 8

Freddy's POV

Yesterday was amazing, I never realised how good it is to perform in front of an audience. I just really hope principal Mullins didn't watch the live stream, we could be in so much trouble if she did. Right now we are all in the classroom talking about yesterday when principal Mullins walks in and she looks mad, on no this can't be good

Principal Mullins: first Tomika visits raven academy without my permission and now you guys are too, I should just suspend you all permanently

Tomika: don't

Principal Mullins: and why not Tomika

Tomika: because it was my idea to go to raven academy, they didn't want to go but I forced them

Principal Mullins: very well Tomika you are suspended permanently, get your things and leave immediately

And with that principal Mullins leaves, why did Tomika take the blame for us

Freddy: Tomika why did you do that

Tomika: guys it's for the best

Zack: Tomika we're not going to let you take the blame for this

Tomika: Zack let me, it'll just be easier if I do

Lawrence: how will it be easier

Tomika: do you not know how hard it is for me to be here everyday

Summer: what are you going on about tomix

Tomika: all travis prep does is diss my parents, I was thinking of leaving travis prep but I didn't want to leave you guys

Freddy: Tomika why didn't you say anything

Tomika: you guys don't know what it's like to lose your parents and then have your school mock them just because they were ravens

Lawrence: where are you going to go

Tomika: probably raven academy

Zack: I wish you didn't have to go Tomika

Tomika: you guys will be fine without me

Summer: no I'm not letting you do this Tomika

And with that summer leaves the classroom and we all go after her, I have a feeling I know what she is going to do. Just then we see her talking to principal Mullins outside her office, so we all go up to her

Principal Mullins: so Tomika it looks like your friends are not letting you take the blame for this

Tomika: guys I told you not to do that

Summer: Tomika it's not your fault why should you take the blame

Tomika: guys please

Principal Mullins: what's it going to be, is Tomika taking the blame or all of you

Freddy, Lawrence and summer: we are all taking the blame

Principal Mullins: you have some good friends Tomika, but why did you you guys perform at one of raven academy's open mic night

Tomika: they wanted to show off talent from travis prep

Principal Mullins: Tomika raven academy only thinks about themselves

Tomika: they don't. It's travis prep that only thinks about themselves

Principal Mullins: why would you say that Tomika

Tomika: because it's true. The ravens supported me leaving, they make sure I'm ok, they respect my parents. Travis prep does none of that

Principal Mullins: Tomika are you saying your parents are ravens

Tomika: were

Principal Mullins: so they left raven academy

Tomika: no there dead principal Mullins

Principal Mullins: who were your parents Tomika

Tomika: I'll give you a hint, you mock them

Principal Mullins: ally and Steve young

Tomika: yeah

Principal Mullins: Tomika you can't come to this school if your parents were raven even if they are dead

Tomika: that's what I don't get, have you ever just watched the ravens you would see there not who you think they are. They are kind hearted people that care about others

And with that Tomika storms away and we all go after her
