two weeks later

"One Cappuccino for Kara!" I shouted as I gave the android her drink.

Everything was pretty much normal, yet, still sad about Connor. I just wish that one day he'll come back, the same old him.

Luke was promoted to lead employee, whatever that is, it used to be Claudia's position.

Luke approached me, "Hey I just remembered." He said. "You told me that Connor broke your phone right?" He continued. I nodded, "You might wanna check if you had backed up those pics." Luke said.

I realized that my phone has a back up feature that can be seen from another device. "Oh my ra9, Luke! You're a genius!" I cheered.

He smirked, "I get that alot." He replied boastfully.

"Alright, I take it back." I replied, and continued to do my work. My shift ends in a few minutes then I can go home and look if I had the pictures.

As I got home, I greeted Dad, as usual he's watching hockey. Eyes glued to the tv. I went upstairs and quickly got my laptop. I looked at the backed up pictures.

It only made me tear up.

There it is, over a thousand random pictures of me and Connor. It made me remember so many random things we did.

Like every other night, I cried myself to sleep, remembering him.

"(Y/N)?" A voice spoke, "(Y/N)? Wake up!" The voice continued as something poked me.

I groaned, "Sumo! Stop that!" It came to my realization again, dogs don't talk.

"I'm not Sumo, (y/n)." The voice replied.

"If I wake up, will you stop poking me?" I said, half asleep.

"As you wish." The voice spoke.

I opened my eyes to see him. Connor.

Water started to well up in my eyes, "Connor!" I quickly stood up and hugged him. He was startled, but hugged me back. "I missed you." I cried and buried my face on his shoulder.

His LED turned yellow, "(y/n), I always be here for you." Connor replied.

I looked up at him, "Don't ever leave me again, okay?" I cried.

"I won't (y/n), I won't." Connor replied, but I still continued to cry, "Shh, it's okay, I'm here now." Connor comforted me.

"I love you."

"I love you too, (y/n)."
