"Rose?" Greyson snapped his fingers "Are you okay?"
I snapped out of my daydream and shoved his fingers away from my face "Yeah, I'm fine"
"Where did you zone off too"
"Nowhere"
"Okay..." he said "So is that a yes?"
"To what?"
"Are you telling me you heard nothing of what I just said?" his mouth dropped opened in shock
"Yes" I answered simply
"Okay..." he said slowly "Well, in that case I'll just ask again"
"Ask what?"
He smiled "Do you want to go to my family's annual Halloween Party with me?"
"I was going anyways"
"No Rose" he smiled "Would you like to go to the party with me?"
I stared at him
"Nevermind...." he grinned sheepishly "Forget I asked"
"No, No" I apologized "It's just that you just caught me off guard"
"So is that a yes?" he raised an eyebrow
I hesitated
He grabbed my hand "As friends Rose, Nothing else"
I hesitated again
One half of me was relieved that we were going there as friends, with no pressure added, but the other half of me was also disappointed.
"Sure" I finally answered with a smile "As friends"
He gave me a smile too but it didn't quite reach his eyes like his usual smile did.
"So...what are you planning on going as? Do we need a theme?" I asked and he laughed
"What are we? Twelve?"
I pouted "If we're going together than we need a theme"
I grabbed my phone and started researching
