blackmail {tony}

"why would she do that?" tony asks

i sigh, having to get up and walk downstairs

i stand beside peter, smiling "hey pete"

"hey y/n" he says, flustered under tony's gaze

"why is he here?" tony asks, shifting his attention to me

i roll my eyes "because we are friends"

tony's eyes widen "he's fifteen and you're- you're-"

"so what tony? i hang out with bucky and steve and they are both in their nineties"

"that's different" he argues

"look, i don't know what's going on with you lately between nat blackmailing you about something and whatever else, but don't take it out on peter, okay?"

he nods with rosy cheeks

i take peter's hand and lead him to my room

"so peter, bruce and i really want you in the lab" i start

his eyes light up "really?"

i nod "i'm thinking that if we just kind of walk in, tony will eventually give up"

he nods, shrugging "we can try"

i smile and walk with him to the lab

i look around, not seeing tony anywhere

i walk into the lab with peter following

bruce looks at me, smiling "so you did convince him"

i shake my head "no, he's here without tony knowing"

bruce raises his eyebrow "really?"

i nod

bruce shrugs "fine, but you're taking the blame for it"

i smile and nod "of course"

"okay, peter, come over here and help me with this" bruce instructs

peter practically runs over to him

i decide to take a break from all the science, walking down to the kitchen

i hunt around for something to eat when i hear yelling from the living room

"you know what? fuck it. i'm done" tony screams

"if you quit then i'll tell y/n" nat warns

tony sighs "then tell her. she hates me right now anyways"

i frown as i watch him walk out of the living room

nat comes running over to me "y/n, guess what?"

i brush her off, chasing after tony

he closes his door to his bedroom
