steve rogers is the most clueless guy on earth

i like him a lot and am always throwing hints at him, but he doesn't take them

"bucky" i whine, putting my head down on the counter "i like him so much, but he doesn't catch on"

he just laughs "y/n, he doesn't have much experience with girls"

"i know, but-ugh"

he walks over, rubbing my back "sorry"

"do you think he would get jealous?" i ask, an idea popping into my head

"maybe"

i smile "then be my date to tony's party tonight"

i put on my favorite dress matches with the same colored heels

i hook my arm with bucky's, both of us walking into the elevator

"i hope this works" i say, nervously

he smiles warmly at me "it should. we just really need to sell it and if not, plan b"

"what's plan b again?"

he laughs "a random dude"

i smile "oh yeah, with you standing guard"

he smiles "of course"

the elevator dings, we walk out of it and down the stairs where the party is

we walk over to the bar where most of the avengers are

nat and wanda wiggle their eyebrows at me as i roll my eyes

"did i miss something?" tony asks "since when are y/n and frosty a thing?"

i shrug "we aren't a thing"

i immediately turn to bucky

"let's dance" i say, excitedly

he laughs "sure thing, doll"

i take his hand and lead him out onto the dance floor

we dance for a while before taking a break at the bar

"hey y/n. hey bucky" steve says

i smile "hi stevie"

he blushes "looks likes you two were having fun out there"

i nod, smiling at bucky

he smiles back, throwing his arm around my shoulder

"so are you two together?" he asks, polietly
