bruce's pov

"i'm serious bruce. you've improved greatly" tony says

i roll my eyes again at his comment about me keeping my anger under control and the green guy hidden

"what's your secret?" he asks, smirking

my mind instantly goes to y/n, my girlfriend

although no one knows about her, because i'm just not ready to tell anyone, i'd be lying if i said she wasn't my rock

i smile "it's a secret for a reason"

he pouts "well it might come in handy sometime. just saying"

i shrug

"just tell me"

"no"

"come on" he nags

i shake my head, taking deep breaths

he doesn't stop

y/n's pov

i'm watching tv at my apartment when i get a bad feeling

something tells me to find bruce and make sure he's okay

i drive to the avengers house, opening the door with a spare key that bruce gave me incase of emergencies

i hear crashes from a few stories up

i start to run towards it, but stop when i hear glass breaking and a giant thud from outback

i run to the backyard seeing bruce in full hulk mode

i don't even hesitate as i walk towards him

he hovers over me, grunting

i smile warmly, reaching my hand up towards him

hulk raises an eyebrow, making me smile wider

"hi hulk. my name is y/n. it's nice to finally meet you"

i see his lips turn upwards

"hulk likes y/n"

i smile "that's good because i like you too"

he smiles wider, showing his teeth

"can i please have bruce now?"

he frowns "you not like hulk?"

"no i do. it's just that he promised that we'd hang out tonight"

he crosses his arms over his chest, thinking for a moment

"pretty please" i add

he looks at me, rolling his eyes

i laugh, making him smile widely
