we talk about this and that until my timer tells me that i have to get my phone in 20 minutes.
marcus asks:
»why did it ring?«
»cuz my phone is done in 25 minutes. so, i have to go in 20 minutes.«
he nods but opens his eyes widely then.
i look at him questioning.

»oh shit, i didn't look when mine will be ready.«
i shortly think and reply:
»well, i guess at the same time like mine will. we can go together, in case you want to.«
marcus nods.
»sure, that's fine!«
he turns around to the waitress and asks for the bill.

i search for my portmonee but marcus says:
»nei, nei, i'd love to pay for you.«
i smile at him thankfully.
he nods again and pays. we stand up, i take my jacket, marcus puts on his hood and we leave the café.
i'm sure i won't forget this.
in a good way, i guess.

we walk back to the apple store and we talk about some random stuff. it is actually kind of weird because i used to be his best friend but i still feel a connection between us.
we notice that we still have some similar interests, for example our interest in music and our favorite colors.

we arrive at the store in time and enter the existing queue again. marcus still wears his hood and enters in front of me. we still talk while some girls join us and want a picture with him. how do they even find them everywhere?
i turn around quickly that they won't imagine some stuff.
mac, sorry, marcus takes some pictures with the girls and turns around again when they finally leave.

herregud, i kinda feel special because we spent time with eachother, even though we used to be best friends.
claire, stop. he will forget you tomorrow again.
»i know.«
i mumble without noticing that i actually said it out loud.
»what did you say?«
marcus asks. i look at him confused and say.
»uh... everything's alright. i just thought out loud.«

marcus nods and we go on with talking until it's his turn.
he talks to the shop assistant and gets back his phone.
he exhales happily. i laugh a bit and get back my phone as well.
when i'm back outside again i turn on my new phone and text my parents that i'm in the city fixing my phone and that i will be back soon.

»claire?«
marcus asks. i look at him and reply:
»yes, marcus?«
he laughs a little bit and i look at him questioning.
»please say mac, otherwise it seems if we wouldn't know eachother what is obviously not true lol.«
i smile at him.
»yes, mac.«
i accentuate "mac" and grin.
»spending time with you was very cool. i kind of miss the old times.«
i scratch the back of my head.
i miss it too, of course.
»me too, i hope to see you soon, again eh... maybe...«
i smile embarrassed and he nods while smiling.

after a weird silent moment, i decide to go back home because i don't have any plans for oslo anymore.
»i uhm..., go back home now.«
marcus looks at me and nods. however, he adds:
»if you want to, i can show you my favorite place here. nobody knows it's my favorite place. and generally not many people know it.«
i look up and realize what he just said.
wow, this is kind of weird that i'm spending time with my ex bestfriend who i haven't seen for some time.
i laugh
»you know, that i live here, right?«
»you know, that i am here almost every weekend?«

i smile brightly what gets embarrassing to me so i look down.
marcus sees that and starts to laugh.
gosh, his laugh is so cute. i missed it so much.
i love laughing with him.
»so, what are you waiting for, maci? show me your favorite place.«

he smiles at the nickname i gave him when we were like 5 and points in the direction where we also go then.
i text my parents that i decided to stay in the city for some time and that i'll catch up with them asap and follow marcus.
we go trough some streets which i know, obviously and go on with catching up about our super different lives.
