Cross hatched features,
Peaking through the page.
Clean pristine paper,
Your face without the age.
Pencilled in lips,
Smooth and textured.
Eyes open wide,
Light glistening, reflection.
Hidden in all crevices,
In every inch of your face
Life lyes on the surface,
Like a feather atop empty space.
Dedicated to chestwounded for the help.
I know this poem is different from my usual style but I'm trying something out.
