Y/n's POV

After play rehearsals Jake approached me with a smirk on his face.

"Let's go?"

I gave him a smile.

"Yeah I just need to return some of my things on my locker."

He draped his arms on my shoulders as we walked towards my locker. I suddenly heard squip cough a little.

I internally sighed as I worried about squip. He's not usually like that...did I do something wrong?

I want to roll my eyes but I felt squip zap me a little so I stopped myself. As we reached my locker, students were gossiping about me and Jake.

"I'm done let's go now?"

I asked as he nodded and we went to his car. He opened a door for me as I felt myself smirk.

Make a flirty sarcastic remark.

"Jakey, Jakey, Jake what a gentleman~"

He smirked as he started the engine. I also saw squip sitting at the back seat.

Don't mind me just flirt with him from time to time.

I want to ask squip why he's acting so focus right now, there's no other squips here right?...

I felt a small zap on my back as I clenched my jaw. Jake noticed this so he pulled over and asked me what's wrong.

"You good? You seem tensed, we could cancel the date and..."

I looked at Jake and furiously shook my head no. My mind started to form ideas on how to get things right again.

"What? No...I'm just nervous! Yeah you know since it's my first date and all..."

Jake just nodded, smiled and started his engine again.

"I'll make this memorable then..."

Jake said with a wink which just made me blush. No wonder girls find him attractive, he knows the words to sweep a woman off her feet.
