LISA

The day was sunny until greyish clouds covered the sky and thundered the water. I like to watch the rain run, but that does not mean I like getting wet from head to toe.

At the end of classes, I was pleasantly surprised to see that Taeyong waited for me in front of my class. We went to eat an ice cream under the pretext that we had to revise the last math lesson. In the end, neither of us has come out of a notebook. We spent all afternoon chatting about anything and everything, but especially to get to know each other.

Everything went well. There were rarely moments of silence because we always had a topic of conversation. Talking with him is nice. He is nice despite his hard and almost intimidating face. Every second was pure pleasure, it complimented me from time to time, and I did the same. In less than thirty minutes, a climate of seduction had settled between us.

It was at the most important moment of my life; the one where I would have my first kiss. He leaned over, our lips were only a few inches before sealing. I was going to have a first kiss, but it took the ringing of his cell phone. The tension that was created between us had disappeared at once, and to make things more embarrassing than they already are, I took out my cell phone.

I had eighteen missed calls from Chaeyoung and three from Jisoo's side.

For a fraction of seconds, my heart stopped beating seeing all those missed calls. I started having a lot of scenarios in my head, and my date was in the same state as me. I did not manage to recontact the girls. Regarding, Taeyong had just had a call from his mother telling him to return because of bad weather. She was afraid he would come home too late when there is a disastrous rain outside.

We quickly greeted each other before taking different paths. I would not have thought that our meeting would end so coldly, but I was too preoccupied with the mysterious calls of the girls to worry about this detail.

After running for the bus, here I am in front of the dormitory door - jerky breathing. I'm wet from head to toe, and obviously I'm going to take a shower in the next few minutes.

"WHERE THE HELL YOU BEEN ?!" shouts Chaeyoung at me.

I'm caught off guard by her agressive question, and quickly take a step back. I'm not used to see her swearing. Usually, she is awfully calm and doesn't want me to use bad words. What is wrong with her ? I'm astonished to her sudden behaviour. From now on, I will try to remember that she can be scary sometimes. Her brown eyes are darker than usual, and the features of her face seem to show her tiredness. Did she cried ? Her puffy eyes tell me that she cried earlier. I swallow my saliva, and turn my head to Jisoo. She's sitting on the sofa, and she has an expression that I can't put my finger on it.

There's something here that I don't know and it starts to annoy me.

"Why are you shouting ? There's no--"

"Where have you been ? Answer me, Lalisa." her voice is more and more cold and it's creeping me out.

What happened to my sweet Chaeyoung ? She seems too... strange right now, and she used my real name which is even bizarre.

"Please, answer her." adds Jisoo, looking at me with sad eyes.

"I was with Taeyong...," I admit, lowering my head.

Jisoo's remark makes me feel guilty about something that I should not feel guilty about. Is it bad to have a good time with someone who loves me ? According to their expression, it seems that I should have been with them rather than with him. Maybe this little date in this ice cream shop wasn't a good idea as I thought earlier.

"YOU DIDN'T ANSWER MY CALLS BECAUSE YOU WERE WITH HIM ?!" speaks out Chaeyoung taking a further step towards me.

Rage is visible inside her pupils and I'm scared of what she might do to me. I widen my eyes when I realise that she's already a few steps from me. The beats of my heart start to increase and I put my hands in front of me until Jisoo comes beside me and takes Chaeyoung's hands.

"You need to calm down," Jisoo says to the brunette.

"I-I'm sorry ! I wasn't looking at my phone the whole time," I simply say with a deeply apologetic look.

Even if I have no idea what I have done to make her mad, I'm sure that it's something serious. Chaeyoung is not the type of person to be easily pissed off.

"I'm sorry if that's what you want to hear. I'm really sorry--" I say until she hugs me.

Soft sobs escape from her lips and without knowing why she is crying, I surround my arms around her tiny waist and put my chin on her shoulder.

"Please... tell me what is going on." I ask them.

"Taehyung's grandma passed away, and Jennie is missing since then."
