Alexis POV
Zac came sliding in across from me taking a spot next to Trinity.
"We need to talk" He stated.
"Bitch can we help you? Rebecca Black lookin ass" Trin rolled her eyes and looked away.
"Good to see you too Trinity" He sighed. "Anyways y'know how Mac saw us at Zaxby's on Friday?"
Trinity turned back around at the sound of Mac's name.
"Yeah... that didn't go well" I raised my eyebrows.
"Well we had another dispute on Saturday and he basically found out there's nothing going on between us. Which means you're back in the game, or at least I would hope"
"Wait.. what?" I tried to process the information he threw at me.
He drew out a breath. "He thought we were a thing, but now he knows we aren't".
I raised my eyebrows understanding what was going on now.
"So, it's literally whoever makes the first move"
"Pretty much I guess" he shrugged.
I turned around to take a glance at where he was sitting. He caught my gaze and returned it with a small awkward smile. I felt the corner of my mouth lift and I looked back at Trin and Zac.
"Thank you" I beamed at Zac.
"Ahh, it's nothing" he crossed his arms and smirked.
"But forreal though now you gotta set me up with Ariana Grande"
I scoffed. "She prolly doesn't even know Gate City exists"
"No one does. But that man right there" he pointed at Mac. "Put us on the map"
"Cuff himmm" Trinity slapped table causing people to stare at us.
I smiled and shook my head. Life was about to take a real positive turn.
Mac POV:
I sat at the lunch table totally zoned out from whatever commotion was happening.
My whole world took a sharp turn after Zac explained to me the real situation.
I felt horrible for pushing Alexis away when she could've been with me right now. And now I have no idea how to fix it.
"Mac!" A loud voice broke me into reality.
"Tell us about what happened on Saturday man y'all were trippin" Andrew glanced between Zac and I.
"It's a whole thing man, I don't wanna get into it" I shook my head.
"Well senior night is co-" John started.
"That's all I hear from y'all, this is comin up, that's comin up. Relax Jam Fam's got it under control" I crossed my arms.
"Nah man I'm serious we're about to graduate and Zac is still gonna be here for another year. Y'all better clear up whatever you got goin on" John replied.
I knew he was right. We hadn't talked since Saturday. Great, now two people I needed to make right with.
