dearest ethan,
i'm not quite sure if you remember me, but i was the girl you exchanged addresses with in savannah whilsr you were visiting your sister in college.

i'm not quite sure if you remember much of that night, but i do. i can recall every second of it.

i can still see you in your black hoodie, swinging me around as we danced to k.flay and shook our heads crazily, hair all over the place.

and when we took a break on the roof of the playground, you put your hand on mine and whispered: 'i love you'

you didn't mean it that way. i know you didn't and i am not offended . but i smiled because you were one of the fewer people who ever accepted me.

you allowed me to be myself, regardless of how fat or ugly i am. you made me feel special, and not like an alien.
