"Well?" My moms brittish voice speaks through the silence car.

I look out the window.

"Well?" I ask in confusion. I actually know what shes asking. I just want to act dumb.

"Why are you about 70 miles away from home? Shawn....Why do you keep going places? You know how much i worry?" She tells me with anger.

I continue to look out the window.

I try to find the words to tell her. Its true. This past month ive been escaping. Ive had too much on my mind and i just needed to get away.

"Umm" i start to think of what to say.

I begin tapping my fingers on my lap.

"I-i just felt like i needed to get away" i exclaim.

I hear my mom sign.

I look towards her. The street lights glowing in her face.

"Im sorry mom" i inform her.

She smiles.

"Its okay" she tells me.

I smile back.

I look in her department, looking for her charger. I take it out and plug it in.

I take out my phone and plug it in to the charger.

"How is Mia? How is Mia and you?" My mom ask.

My heart beat starts to beat fastsr and faster.

"G-good" i tell her.

"Im glad to hear" she tells me.

"I think she might be the one Shawn. I think she might be the one" She turns to me and smiles.

Yeah.

"Yeah" i speak.

   "Can you help me take out some bags in the back?" My mom ask me. We made it home. It is now 12:00 pm.

I get out of my car and head my way towards the back.

I open the trunk and get two plastic bags out full of grocery items.

I sign. I pull my my covers...The cold air making me cold. Hah.

I decide to respond to Jillian, Alexa and Isabell.

To Alexa: hi. Im home.

To jillian: Yesss?

To Isabell: im not dead. Im home! Did you get home?

I decide thats all.

I turn off my phone. I turn off my lights and go to bed.
