I gasped and started breathing faster. He began walking slowly to the torture table I was laid on. I started crying out of fear and closed my eyes scared to see his face. Ive never seen the iduh king before, just heard stories about how wicked and cold calculating king he is.

"Open your eyes. I heard a deep voice vibrating through my ears. I was too scared to open them. I cried uncontrollably

"Please.. d-dont kill me. I stammered feeling my hot tears flowing down my cheeks.

I felt his hand wiping away my tears.

Huh? The iduh king is wiping away my tears??? Or maybe he's not even him.

I slowly opened my eyes. A well built man stood before me. He wore a black kaftan and resting his hands on the table staring at me deeply. The tears in my eyes made my view blurry. I couldnt see his face clearly.

"Are-are you going to kill me?? I asked quietly staring at him.

"No. He said, his deep voice sending chills into my body.

"But-but what am I doing here? I asked

"You've been captured! He said louder making me yelp

"Wh-what have I done wrong? I asked quietly not wanting to provoke him further. He look closely at me. Rubbing his hands down my cheeks and breathing slowly. I closed my eyes, scared of his touch. Ive never been touched by a man before. I feel so uncomfortable.

"Stop touching me!!!!! I yelled. He let go and stared at me surprisingly. He moved back a bit and frown his brows trying to accept the fact that I've just yelled at him.

He chucked and look so amused. I remained silent staring into thin air.

"Do you know who I am? He asked still looking amused by my recent action. I swallowed my spit hard and slowly nodded a no.

"I thought so too. He said now looking so serious. "I am king Furqan Omar Obaje. Iduh the third of Agahba kingdom.

My eyes widen in shock. I was speechless, tears started making its way down my cheeks. I cried silently now knowing what the king might do to me.  He moved around the torture room browsing through the torture tools stroking his beard thoughtfully.

He went over to a fire place and put more woods in the blazing fire making it flame more. He stood up and started walking to the other side where my head is being placed. I could'nt turn my neck anymore. I don't know what he's going to do to me.  I exhaled silently and closed my eyes letting out pool of tears.

FURQAN POV

(The palace)

The aghaba kingdom is located north east by a ridge of mountains, forty miles high and all joined together, in between the mountains is bounded by Ega river. It is surrounded by Greenland.

The Palace building has many pointed towers which was built mimicking the British style giving it an eccentric crown. The walls is rich Brown bricks that glistened in the harmmattan sun with dark slate roof. It is up high in the hill overlooking the town. It has sculptures in the front of the castle made by the finest masters of craft. A large fountain is suited at the front of the castle and perfectly manicured hedges that looks like different animals. A huge Lion statue is molded at the front of its huge tall gate, with welcome to the Palace of ONU-IDU, Furqan Omar Omi' Obaje written boldly on the gate of the Palace.

Several guards are placed in different entrances of the castle and hundreds of maids flocked in and out going around with their chores. Traditional rulers of vassal states equally go about, some had booked meeting with the king while others were there to report their state affairs.

The throne room is the first entrance of the palace, it's a huge hall with huge chandelier hanging in the middle and candle holders placed perfectly on the walls. A huge chair is placed on a stage of the hall, having a red long rug neatly spread from the stage to the doorway. This unique features make Agahbah kingdom and palace stands out in the whole of Ogala-Mela odulu.

"My king. The Asir village had collided with our enemies, the tahjnis. General azez said bowing to the me while seating on my throne in the throne room.

"What??? Asir ? Are you sure about this?

"Yes sire.

I became furious. How dare they??? I shouted and stood up. I showed them mercy despite the fact that they didn't participate fully in payment of tax. How dare they??? I said knocking my fist in anger.

"Prepare your men at once! This means war! I Said. General azeez nodded and briskly walked out of the throne room.

This means war! I said moving around the room in anger.

10 days later my soldiers and I attacked the Asir kingdom unannounced. With my large number of army and the small Asir kingdom, it took few hours for them to be conquered.

"Search everything and everywhere! Don't spare anyone!! I commanded my soldiers moving around on my horse. Everywhere is quite. Corpses lay down, some on fire burning. I covered my nose and started heading towards the woods while some of my men followed suit.

They kept searching the woods. There was a sound of something falling on the dry leaves. The soldiers went towards that direction in search of whatever that was.

I waited for them on my horse with General Azeez on his.

Soon they came back with a girl looking lifeless and dropped her on the floor.

I moved closer to take a good look at her face. There's something about her. I squat and look at her closely. She look so peaceful, her almond skin looks so creamy and soft which looks dried and yet glows. " mashaAllah. I murmured under my breath. I looked further to her curvey sensual figure which is so tempting. She looks so delicate. I feel she's screaming inside to be saved, so innocent. I suddenly feel so protective of her like she's mine to keep.

"She still breath. Said General Azeez. I nodded caressing her cheeks.

"Well time for her to die. Azeez said bringing out his sword.

"Don't you dare think about it!! I said I held his hand while he raised his sword in order to kill the girl.

Shock was written all over azeez face. He gave me the 'are you okay' look and I gestured him to drop his sword. He did as he was told and looked at me disappointed and questions showing in his eyes.

I turned around and look at the soldiers also looking so confused at my actions.

"Not even a finger is to be laid on her! Understood? They all nodded including azeez.

"Good. Now carefully put her in the carriage. I said clambing my horse and we set off to the castle.
