Prologue

~Reader's Pov~

I sighed as I looked out of the window of our car, I was resting my head on my fist as my gaze was on the places we pass by. "Well isn't this exciting dears? New house, new school, new friends! " I heard the voice of my mom say while she was driving, my brother Alex, who was beside me, simply nodded as I groaned instead "For you" I mumbled under my breath "What was that (Y/n)?" Mom said in a angry like tone "N-nothing mom!" I said growing scared, I hear my mom sigh "(Y/n)… I know you're sad that we're moving, but think it like this! You'll make new friends and I heard that monsters live in this town!" My mom said. 'Monsters…? I have heard from the news a few months ago that someone named Frisk freed the monsters from the underground… But I've never met one in person' I thought being lost in my thoughts until I felt the car stop "We're here!" I hear mom yell in excitement, I snapped back to reality as I look back out the window and see a white moderately large house.

I grab my bag and get out of the car and breath in the fresh air as Alex follows after me with his bag of stuff, "The moving truck with our other things won't be here for a few more minutes, you both can go explore the new house until the moving truck gets here and unloads our stuff" my mom said smiling as me and Alex nodded in unison, before I knew it Alex already started walking inside the house without me "Hey! Alex, wait for me!" I said running after him and setting foot into our new house. I looked around the place it was a pretty big place and the walls and floor looked so nice and beautiful.

'Maybe living here won't be so bad..'
