I like how the yellow eyes on this cover pop out. Other details like the font choice and blood dripping down help tie the cover (which is well-made and interesting to look at) together. Everything about it has a dark fantasy feel that suits the book.

I'm probably going to mention this several times, and it's going to get repetitive, but the author really knows how to make everything tie together to fit a theme. The title is no exception. Just like everything else, it shows off the book well.

After reading a couple paragraphs of the author's writing, I wanted to read more, which is great because it means the author succeeded in the summary area. Although I'm not the greatest at writing summaries, they are one of the key elements of a great story.

I skimmed through the first two chapters and couldn't find any grammatical errors, which is a plus. I'd say your grammar is nothing far from perfection. As for the editing, it's fantastic. So much description is put into the story, and the reader can practically feel the effort put into the story by the author.

Aside from the pre-prologue and the prologue, there's only one chapter out of this book. They are long chapters though (in a good way) and give the reader a lot to chew on. The plot is going well and seems like it will continue to do well. After all, things have only gotten started. Also, both the pre-prologue and prologue are examples of those elements done right.

I'm just going to jump right in with how I feel about the two main characters- Noinan and Waenin. I like seeing Noinan from Waenin's point of view. It helps with the being extremely creeped out by him thing. I'm not sure if that was intentional or not, but it seems like it. It's also intriguing for me to follow the path of a character that murdered their family. At times it can be refreshing to see from a character like Waenin's point of view.

It's disappointing to me how little comments, votes, and views this book has, it deserves much more. But if the author has the patience, I'm sure the views on this book will grow. The plot is compelling, the characters make you think, and overall the book is an interesting read, especially for those who enjoy the dark fantasy genre.
