I was honestly surprised not to see a cover of a shirtless guy or two people making out or something of the sort. After scrolling through trending Werewolf stories, that's what the majority of them look like. I was pleasantly greeted with a well-made, but unique cover.

The title of this story doesn't give much away but still references a few main plot points in the story. To me, it also tells of  the overall tone of this book. It's a good title.

Although the summary was a bit long, it had strong points, as it didn't hesitate to explain the title and sum up the first few chapters of the book. All of this and it still didn't give away the twists and turns the story would have.

I skimmed through a few chapters, multiple times I might add, and I couldn't find any errors. Needless to say the grammar in this story is professional, and the editing is as well. And the descriptions the author gives about environments and characters were well done, as they weren't too long or too short.

The author definitely had the plot planned out, but I don't mean that in the bad way. There was a natural order of events that flowed together to create the story. Every event had a purpose and the author could still pull or twists and turns that made the story unique.

Overall, the characters in this story were memorable, and I could tell reading the story that a lot of love went into them. For me, the character that stood out the most was Aulora. Her personality traits show that she's a strong lead, and she's one of the best parts of this story. There were no bad characters, and all of them had something to contribute to the story.

Overall, I was surprised with this story. Usually I don't like werewolf or vampire stories, mainly because it's hard to find a unique story. However, I really enjoyed this story. Right off the bat, it had so much to offer, such as the premise of her mate being someone she hates (at least we think), a strong lead that does the story justice, and many other things. I think that the author should continue writing this story, as I'm excited to read more.
