The cover of this book doesn't exactly look terrible, but it doesn't necessarily look great either. My main reasoning behind this statement is that there isn't really much to it, nor anything memorable, like an add-on that remains etched in my mind.

The  title is short and Simple , and it doesn't reveal too much about what your story was about. It actually reminds me of when it all began.

Some people tend to describe the entire plot of their story in their summaries, or have paragraphs and paragraphs and paragraphs. I'm glad to say this summary didn't fall into this category. It was short and simple and drew me in still revealing very little.

Overall, the grammar in this story is fine. It's entirely average, as most stories either have atrocious grammar, stellar grammar, or somewhere in between. Yours is that somewhere in between with occasional errors but not too bad, still acceptable. I also found the way you edited your story enjoyable.

Although the ending seemed abrupt, and the readers were tossed into the events before getting to know all of the characters introduced, the plot had an alright flow to it. For example, something I would've done is at least implied how close Maverick and E were, as E misses her constantly, yet a close relationship was necessarily established.

For me, your characters were a mixed bag, as you made their personalities clear whilst the plot moved. For example, Yeeva's actions and motives for who she kills in the end of the book seek kind of forced, as she seems to not care once she burns her brother's body, but gets High on revenge later on. However, I also liked the blossoming chemistry between August and E, whom grew on me after a few chapters. Hence my problem. The characters are not at all bad, though.

Overall, although this story had a few flaws, these flaws weren't too major (however, I would suggest looking at them), I found this book entertaining and well worth a read. I'll definitely be checking out the sequel, perhaps even reviewing it later on.

(I apologize about how late this review has come in. Lately, I haven't had much time on my hands. I appreciate you being patient.)
