Day 2: Path to Secretion

Start from the beginning

May apat na estudyanteng nandodoon so I kept my head down. I am so embarrassing! Why did I have to do that?!

*.*.*

"You called for me 'lo?", hindi na ako kumatok dahil sabi ni lolo, no need to knock on the door.

Napaangat ng tingin si lolo at napangiti. "Ah, my sweet darling. Come here and give your lolo a big hug," he said with a wide arms. Napangiti ako at napatakbo sa kanya.

He's not mad about what happened in the lobby right?

"Miss you lolo."

"Miss you too apo."

"Tell me what is it apo," napasimangot ako sa sinabi niya.

So this is a good sign, he didn't see it. He didn't see me kissed Yvo's cheeks!

"Mom wants me to study here in Magnolia."

Lolo looked at me confused.

I really love your school, a lot, but it's just that, I already have plans. Besides, I had an encounter with one of your students and they're really rude. I thought your school teaches how to behave properly and face someone with manners?"

Lolo laughed a little before sighing.

"I know that, but even if someone changes their personality, it will only go back to what you truly are. Kung pilit mong babaguhin ang sarili mo, people might label you as a plastic person. People these days lolo, they want that specific person to change their attitude but if that person did it, people would still consider you as not being true to them and to yourself. So why learn on how to change yourself when people can't even change the way they look at you? How can you successfully change yourself if you can't even change the way their minds think?"

And I think this kind of topic diverted lolo's attention about what happened in the lobby.

My gosh, this is so embarrassing!

"You can. You just have to be at the right time and at the right place of change," lolo countered.

I sighed in relief. I think I'm good at changing someone's attention.

"Don't think that just because we had this conversation doesn't mean I will forget about what I saw before you came inside my office," seryosong sabi ni lolo sa akin.

Napangiwi ako. "I-I wasn't doing anything wrong."

"Diverting and changing our second main topic is considered wrong, and what's more sinful in my eyes and perspective is the fact that my grandchild knows her way with men," halata ko ang inis sa boses niya.

Napayuko tuloy ako. "I'm sorry lolo."

I heard him sigh. "It's fine, just, don't ever do that again. It's not the Gonzales way."
