Swallowing my fears, I brandish my pen.

"So what do you think?" Moniko asks
"Very freeform is that what you call it?" I sigh "I'm not the best critic, sorry."
"ahah no it's alright,"
"Anyway this is Moniko's writing tip of the day! Sometimes when writing a poem or a story your brain can get too fixated on a point, if you try so hard to make it perfect, then you'll never make any progress. Just force yourself to write something down and tidy it up later. If you keep your pen in one place for a long time you get a dark puddle of ink, so just move your hand and go with the flow!" I smile and turn to Yuki.

Yuki stares at my poem, he didn't seem pleased.  "Oh sorry, I uhm forgot to start speaking,"
"ehe ok then," I smile "Let me put my thoughts into words," Yuki stumbles "Is this your first time writing a poem right?" I nod "Is it really that bad?"
"Oh sorry if I gave that impression, but you could maybe write about something meaningful and deep," I nod "Although this sounds like what Naruki would write, he can be a bit biased sometimes." I look at him "What?" Yuki stutters "Nothing! Here's my poem,"

The tendrils of my hair illuminate beneath the amber glow.
Bathing.
It must be this one.
The last remaining streetlight to have withstood the test of time.
the last yet to be replaced by the sickening blue-green of the future.
I bathe. Calm; breathing air of the present but living in the past.
The light flickers.
I flicker back.

"Sorry I have terrible handwriting,"
"What? What made you think that?"
"It took you a while to read it, I figured-"
"No it's just that I don't really read script that often," Yuki sighed in relief
"Thank goodness,"
"Oh and the poem was great!"
"It wasn't short?"
"No, it was perfect and very descriptive," I smiled and it seemed that Yuki opened up a bit more
"Since this is our first time sharing poems, I thought I would write something mild,"
"Just a quick thought Yuki. Do you like ghosts and the paranormal?"
"Ehehe, Oh Y/N the poem isn't actually about ghosts,"
"Sorry, I must have missed the point,"
"Well you did only skim over it after all." We share a laugh
"JESUES Will you guys stop flirting, me and Moniko are waiting!"

I walk over Naruki, obviously impatient from me and Yuki's conversation. Naruki reads the poem and scoffs
"Well let's start with the things I don't like!"
"First of all, I uhm," He swiftly skims through the poem again, I raise an eyebrow "N- Nevermind, you aren't worthy of my opinion!"
"Hey!"
"What?"
"I wrote this instead of playing Persona five! I wrote this so you could be more comfortable with sharing yours!"
"Well I would be more comfortable if yours was terrible!"
"So you liked it?"
"YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND!"
"Show me yours!"
"What, NO!"
I reached around Naruki even though it was hard to get past him, I tried. Since Naruki was sitting on a desk I was sitting on his lap reaching around him and grabbing his poem from behind him.

Eagles can fly
Monkeys can climb
Crickets can leap
Horses can race
Owls can seek
Cheetahs can run
Eagles can fly
Humans can try
And that's about it...

"I told you, you don't like it!"
"I like it,"
"What? You need to be honest,"
"I do. Really!"
"Hmph fine!"

Finally over with that fiasco, I look around the room. Moniko looks busy but Yuki and Naruki exchange poems. I watch as their expressions change, Naruki's eyebrows frown while Yuki purses his lips together.
"What the hell is this?" Naruki whispers, Yuki looks up
"What was that?"
"Oh nothing but, It's very fancy,"
"Yours is cute,"
"Cute?" Naruki spat
"Yes, is there a problem?"
"Did you miss the symbolism? It's about the feeling of giving up!"
"I know, but. I was trying to say something nice."
"If I asked for your nice opinion I would of asked, this was Y/N's favourite!"
"Really, well Y/N liked mine too,"
A spark flew in Naruki's mind.

"Oh you were trying to impress Y/N were you?"
"I uhm," Yuki slams his hand on the desk "Well you are just jealous that Y/N likes my advice better than yours!"
"How do you know that?" They were arguing like girls "You are just full of yourself!"
"If I was full of myself I would try to make everything overly cutesy!"
"HEY! AT LEAST MY BALLS DON'T GROW A SIZE BIGGER WHENEVER Y/N SHOWS UP!"
"NARUKI,"
"Now Naruki that was a bit-" Moniko tries to step in
"STEP OFF!" The two shout.
"You really act as young as you look don't you Naruki!" Yuki screams
"LOOKS WHO'S TALKING MR.EDGELORD BITCH!"
"Edgelord?" Yuki sighs "It seems that my lifestyle is too much for your baby brain to comprehend!"
"See? Just saying that proves my point!" I start getting frightened "Most people get over themselves by secondary school (Middle school)!"
"If you want to prove anything then stop harassing others with that sickening attitude! No matter how hard you try to act cute and innocent. Stop acting Naruki!"
"Woah there Yuki you might cute yourself on that edge!" Naruki scoffs "Oh my bad you already do don't you?"
"I don't cut myself!" Yuki kicks a chair "WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!"
 Naruki picks up the chair
"Yeah go on! LET Y/N HEAR EVERYTHING YOU THINK! She'll be falling for you in no time!"

Yuki turns to me as he looked as he just noticed me standing there.
"Y/N? He's just trying to make me look bad!"
"Not true, he started it!"

HOW THE HELL DID I GET DRAGGED INTO THIS I NEED SOMEONE TO HELP sATO NO. I NEED TO CHOOSE! I tried to say Yuki but I couldn't I just spat out
"NARUKI!"
