Chapter 16

Blaine just stood there frozen
"You know you don't have to do this" Kurt told him
"I know, but if I want to know the truth, then I have to" Blaine sighed
"I'll come with you" Kurt said
"Sure" Blaine then followed Chiron to where his family was
"So is this the entire family" Chiron asked
"Yes, but the dad couldn't be here today" a women which probably was Blaine's mom
"Suspicious, if you ask me" Kurt whispered to Blaine
"Ok, I'll leave you guys alone" Chiron then left
It was an awkward silence until Blaine spoke
"Its been 7 years since you left me"
"I know, and I feel bad for leaving you" his mom said
"Since when did you feel bad, I practically lived on the streets for 3 years until another family took me in" Blaine was angry now
"Wait, three years" Kurt asked
"Yeah, I was 10 when my parents left and then I was 13 when Quinn's family took me in but that only lasted 4 years" Blaine explained
"It wasn't all me, it was your father, he practically convinced me" his mom tried to make him believe her
"And you listened to him, just because at that age I already knew who I was, you guys left me" Blaine argued
"Wait, they didn't accept your sexuality" Kurt looked surprised
"My brother was fine with it, my dad on the other hand didn't like the fact that I liked boys and not girl" Blaine said
"Look Blaine, all we're asking is that you forgive us" a voice said
"Wait Cooper is that you" Blaine asked
"Yeah, I wasn't on board with the idea, I didn't even know mom and dad abondanded you" Cooper said
"I know, and I'm not angry at you" Blaine said
"Just please consider coming back home with us" his mom said
Blaine looked at Kurt, and his face said it all
If we went back, he would be away from Kurt, from Sam and Tina and the rest of his friends, he would be away from his home
"No" Blaine finally said
His mom's face fell
"But why" she said
"You already made your decision 7 years ago, and now I already made mine, the orphanage is my home now" Blaine stated
He saw Kurt smiling at him
"But I need you to tell me one more thing, why was I abondaned a second time" Blaine asked
His mom sighed "Your father actually wanted to get rid of you and when he found out you were adopted by another family, he went after you and therefore, the family you were with left you just so they could protect you"
Blaine's eyes were already with tears and he was literally shaking before he ran away
He didn't even notice Kurt behind him
"Its ok, you're safe now" Kurt hugged
Blaine also saw his friends approaching him and they all just ran towards him and hugged him
"I can't believe this" Blaine was sobbing
"Me neither, but we're going to get through this together" Kurt promised
