(Wolf's POV)

I was devastated, both mentally and physically. It was all too much.

I couldn't take it anymore, I saw it every time I closed my eyes to sleep. It was unbearable- I knew it'd come for me one day or another. I was paranoid all the time, nothing could ease my growing apprehension and fear. Death was the only way out. It probably wouldn't let me die in peace, either. It'd probably subject me to horrendous torture first- then tear me open to watch the blood drain out of me.

Nothing happened for about two weeks after the last incident. The calm before the storm.

I was still on edge. Waiting, knowing the inevitable collapse may come any moment.

Meanwhile I tried talking to Edith Abbott. My experience with her has affirmed all I thought I knew about the facility. It was a death trap, used to experiment on civilians in the most inhumane ways possible- This creature is a result of one of these experiments- maybe deliberately created.

There is no doubt in my mind that this woman is telling the truth. She describes the creature strikingly well and how it's body rips open and morphs into its victim's.

I must proceed with caution.
