Amelia : Jeez thank you for calling me, what a great friend you are -_-

Kandy viewed the message and Amelia's text instantly brought a smile on his face.

Ayy, sorry about that, I've been busy with the cake order, how are you? I miss you x(

Indeed, he did miss her. He was used to seeing her every morning in his cafe, where they would talk about anything and everything. Infact, their friendship had started out when Amelia had been bawling her eyes out while sitting at the corner of his cafe because of her ex-boyfriend and at that moment Kandy couldn't help but notice the girl as she cried her eyes out uncontrollably. Kandy had comforted her that day and they have been friends ever since.

Amelia : I don't miss you at all :p ;)

That hurts ;((( he types back.

It had been a tiring day for Kandy and he was exhausted to say the least. They were done with the initial 6 cakes and Kandy couldn't help but be a little excited for the guests at the engagement to see their handiwork. He was pretty proud of himself and his team, obviously.

For dinner, Kandy had ordered a large mushroom and pepperoni pizza. He had been feeling lazy to cook dinner for himself and that's how he ended up ordering a pizza. He couldn't help but moan as his tongue came in contact with the goodness gracious.

Somehow, Kandy - while chewing on the pizza bread - couldn't help but think about Valerie Donovan. He didn't see her today and though Kandy had been a little disappointed at that, he still managed carry on with his usual goofy smile. He would be lying if he said he didn't find her attractive, but Kandy knew there was more to her that attracted him than just her pretty face and perfect physique. It was like he was drawn to her for some reason. He wondered if Valerie felt the same about him.

He picks up his phone from his dinning table and quickly go through his contacts before clicking on Valerie's number that Juliet had passed him. She had told him to save Valerie's number incase of any emergency. Kandy couldn't help but chuckle at that.

Emergency? yeah right.

Miss me? He types in before sending the message to Valerie.

Kandy waits for Valerie to reply back to his text and though he didn't want to seem desperate and clingy, he almost finds himself typing in another message. Kandy sighs as he backspace his second message, he would only make a fool out of himself if he kept going on like this. Kandy puts the phone down and carries on with his pizza.

It was almost midnight and Kandy had been watching a movie. It was his routine where he would watch a good movie after the dinner. He was used to enjoying his lone time. Kandy was almost through the end of 'The Hangover III' when his phone pinged. Hurriedly, he opens the message only to be a little disappointed when he realized it was Amelia texting him back.

Amelia : Nothing can hurt you big boy ;)

Kandy doesn't reply, he just sighs. At the same time his phone pings once again and this time a smile takes a way upon his face as he opens the message from Valerie.

Mr. Karter, I'll let you know that I, by any means, have no feelings for you. Which makes it impossible for me to miss you. The message read and Kandy couldn't help but chuckle at that. She sounded so professional even through the texts. With the smile on his face, he types in the reply.

And I, Miss Donovan, by all means, would like you to know that we don't need feelings to miss someone.

He instantly gets a reply back and Kandy wasn't able to wipe off the smile from his face as he read her text.
