*Steve's POV*

I just got back from a mission for SHIELD. Clint, Natasha, and I had to go kill some terrorist. Not a big deal. I was currently riding my motorcycle back to my apartment where Tabitha was. I didn't want to leave her alone so I had Pepper stay with her until I got back.

You see she is very ill right now and someone needs to be with her at all times. I tried to talk Fury out of letting me go on the mission but he said I had to go. Finally, I got to the apartment building at walked up to our room. It was about 5 at night so maybe Tabitha would be awake. I unlocked the door and walked in. All of the lights were off but the tv was on.

I walked over to the couch and saw a sleeping figure there. It was Tabitha. I told her to stay in bed. Oh well. I turned on the lights and shut the tv off. Turning to Tabitha I shook her awake. "Tabitha come on sweetie get up I'm home." I said softly. With that her eyes shot open and she looked at me. She then started to cough a little so I helped her to a sitting position.

"I'll go get the medicine and make you some soup. Okay?" I said. She nodded as I put another blanket on her. I walked to the cabinet in the kitchen to get the medicine and some water. I gave the pill to her and then the water. I said "I'm going to make you some soup now. What kind do you want?" "Chicken noodle please." she said in a hoarse voice.

I nodded and went to the kitchen and got the soup out. When it was finished I set it in the living room and sat down by Tabitha. She was too weak and tired to eat so I fed her. I pushed her brown hair out of here face and started to feed her. When she was done I sat back on the couch and she snuggled into me. I put the blankets around us an fell asleep.
