Doctor, Oh Doctor

Start from the beginning

"I'm listening." Nathan said as he took his suit jacket and started wearing it.

"Can you sit down for a while it's important." He looked at me with a dumbfounded look and sat on his bed, "What is it? I don't have much time."

"Alexis." I said.

"What about him?"

"He is alive."

"What!!!??" Nathan yelled.

"Crystal just told me, they didn't find his body at the explosion. So he might have escaped."

"He'll be coming for you anytime soon." Nathan said as I gulped.

I looked at his blue eyes who held no feelings at all, thanks for being a dickhead.

"What do I do?"

"Nothing."

"Nathan, you just said that I'm in danger and you want me to do nothing."

"Yes exactly, if you stay in this house he won't get to you."

"But he knows where I live."

"Yes but my men are stronger than his, he would be stupid to attack us in our main house."

"Well, he did it once before." I said as I started playing with my fingers.

"But he wasn't there, and my men were on a mission."

"Okay." I said as I looked at the ground.

"Anything else." Nathan said

"No." I said then he added, "I have to make a few phone calls."

"Uhhh."

"Get out."

"Asshole." I muttered as I turned around to leave.

"Close the door behind you."

"Sure, boss." I said as I slammed the door shut with extra force.

"That dickheaded motherfucker." I mumbled as I went back to my room.

I opened my phone only to see 2 missed calls from an Unknown number.

So I dialed the number and called.

Phone Call:

"Hello?" I said.

"Hi, Mrs Gray?"

"Who?"

"Uhh I'm your doctor. Dr. James."

"Ohh yes, I forget sometimes that I took my husband's last name." I lied.

"Ohh no worries." Dr James said as he chuckled.

"What's up??" I asked him, "Are the test results ready yet??" I added.

"Yes, I would appreciate it if you visit my office today for the results. It would be better if we talk about your issue face to face rather on the phone."

"Issue?"

"Yes mam, now if you could pass by today at 11 am it would be great."

"Uhh, yeah of course, see you soon doctor. Bye."

"Bye Mrs Gray."

End of the phone call.

My palms started sweating when I heard the doctor say that I had an issue. What could it be?
