I can hear distant voices coming from the living room but I can't make out kung kanino ba yun.

I've been lying on my bed for a few minutes since I woke up. It's a weekend, another week has passed, another lazy day for me, and another day closer to the 3-month mark. Honestly at this point, hindi ko alam kung matutuwa ba ako o malulungkot.

Sighing deeply, I lazily stood up and walked straight towards the sink to wash my face and brush. While doing my morning routine, I made mental notes of the things I should do for today.

But the moment I realized who the voices were, all those to-do list became a blur. For sure, may plano na naman 'tong mga 'to for the weekend. They wouldn't be here for nothing.

I went out the room, expecting them to be fully dressed up for another out of town trip or anything, but I end up confused kung bakit nakapambahay lang sila.

It was Sue who noticed me first.

"Huy, kumain ka na. Nasa lamesa yung almusal mo."

"Good morning din, bes." I rolled my eyes playfully at her, she did the same. Naglakad na lang ako papuntang kusina habang chinicheck ang mga notifications ko sa phone.

"Good morning."

Halos mapatalon ako sa gulat nang marinig ko ang boses niya. He chuckled at my startled face.

"Pota." I whispered, "Grabe ka naman manggulat."

Joao chuckled again, "Sorry. Uhmm.. I hope you don't mind. Nangelam na 'ko dito. Kulang kasi yung almusal na niluto nila. Janella said they're on their way here as well. So.."

"Okay lang. Go." Sabi ko sa kanya, "Si daddy pala? Tsaka manang?"

"Oh, your dad told us that he's going to the café but he'll be back before lunch daw. And manang, I don't know. Pagdating ko, wala na siya eh."

I nodded, grabbing one of the toasts at ipinalaman dito ang ngayo'y malamig nang scrambled egg.

"Kumain na ba kayo?" I asked him, glancing at the wall clock to see that it's already 9 in the morning. Grabe, tinanghali na 'ko kakatula sa kwarto.

"Oo, nag-almusal na kami ni Niel before coming here. Sila Tristan and Sue kumain na din. Si Ford, hindi pa.

And as if on cue, someone cleared his throat kaya napatingin kami parehas ni Joao sa kanya.

"Kain tayo?" Ford looked at me expectantly.

I gulped, I was caught off guard. Kahit sabihing hindi ko na crush si Ford, nagwala nang bahagya ang puso ko.

"Sabay-sabay na tayo."

Then it was Ford and I's turn to face Joao. Didn't he just say na nag-almusal na sila ni Niel?

I was about to ask him that nang bigla siyang tumalikod para tapusin ang niluluto niya. I just realized na pinakbet pala yun.

Tinignan ko ulit si Ford at pinilit na ngumiti, he just smiled back at me but stayed on the same spot.

"S-sure. Tawagin mo na lang kami pagkatapos mo dyan ha." I tried to act casually, and tap his back. Tumayo na 'ko nang maayos mula sa pagkakasandal. I chose to pass by Ford, not looking at his face and walked towards where our friends are.

"Aaaah! Ang cute-cute ni Niall dito." I gushed.

"Si Zayn yung pinakapogi! Okay?" Sue exclaimed.

"Girl, are you blind? Hindi mo ba nakikita yung kagwapuhan ni Louis?" Janella protested, hands on her waist as if it will help to prove her point.

"Jusmiyo. Yung jawline pa lang ni Harry Styles 'te pamatay na. Anong pinagsasabi niyo?" Loisa butted in, leaning closer to Ford.
