Chapter 10 (Mona's POV)

Chapter 10 (from Mona's Point of View):

The next day, Mona got a text. It said "Bonjour, mademoiselle. Comment ca va? Ill fait beau? -A'

Huh? Mona thought. She was really confused. She thought this message was from Big A, but it was in French. Spencer took French, not Big A. She wondered to herself "So, now Spencer is Big A? Was she Big A the whole time and didn't say anything and just joined now so I wouldn't get suspicious? I need to get to the bottom of this.'

So, Mona decided she would do her research now on what the text meant. Maybe Spencer wasn't Big A, and Big A just used a translator or something just to confuse her. But, she was really curious on what the message said. Mona just walked into class and was going to head straight to Spencer to ask her, but then she saw Spencer talking to Aria. She wondered what they were talking about so she kept coming up closer and closer, quietly, until she could hear their conversation. She finally could just barely hear it. Spencer was saying to Aria, "Aria, I talked to Ali and she said that she didn't. She didn't-Well, she said not to tell you this, but, she didn't really sleep with, you d-d-og.'

"WHAT?' Aria yelled. "She SLEPT WITH MY DOG TOO?!?'

"NOOOO! I meant dad,' Spencer said guiltily. "Aria, you don't even have a dog,' she added.

"I don't?' Aria asked her friend, who little did she know was betraying them all.

"Oh my gosh, are you freaking kidding my right now? You actually think you have a dog? As far as I can remember, you NEVER did. All you had was your lonely, boring little messed up family,' Spencer said. She felt guilty right away. She knew she must've said something to hurt Aria because she started tearing up and ran out of the room towards the bathroom. Spencer ran right after Aria, but when she turned around, she saw that Mona was behind her and in her way. Her eyes went big. "Did you just. Did you-?' she asked, but didn't get to finish because Mona cut her off with a quiet "Yes.'

"Oh my God, PLEASE don't tell "Big A,' she said, while making little bunny ears with her hands, quoting "Big A'.  

"She'll use this against Alison, and I'm not even supposed to tell Aria!'  

Right then Alison walked in the room, and she walked over to them. Right before she got there, Mona whispered to Spencer, "Don't worry, I won't say anything.'  

Then, when Alison got to them, she said, "Hey, Spencer. What are you doing talking to loser? Get back to our table so we can continue our stupid little project and get an A on it. I want it done with. Go start working, or if you stay here, you'll catch loser.'

Aria was still in the bathroom. Mona saw Spencer hesitate. She clearly wasn't sure whether to obey Ali's orders, or go after Aria. She decided after about 5 seconds to just walk out of the room and to the bathroom. Alison saw this and was shocked. She asked Mona, "What did you do to her? Did you infect her with loser? I bet it made her lose her voice and clearly lose her mind if she didn't listen to me. Ugh, I can't believe it! Just get out of my way!'

Mona was furious with Alison at this point. Emily walked into the room right before Alison said that, and she looked at Mona so guiltily. She clearly felt bad for her. So, what Mona said next was unexpected. "I didn't do ANYTHING to her. Alison, it's ALL your fault. Aria is STILL upset about you "sleeping with her dad",' she said this while making quotation marks with her hands. This obviously wasn't true, but she couldn't tell Alison what Spencer said. She continued, "You're such a bitch. Everyone is afraid of you, but no one ever says it. Stop calling me a freaking loser. I'm not one. Want to know why? It's because I actually have a heart unlike you, who's a heartless little bitch. So, get out of my way and rot in hell. You don't deserve any friends. You're the reason why I don't even have ANY. Well guess what, I'm not afraid of you anymore. Someone should've put you in your place SUCH a long time ago. You deserve to be punished, tortured the way you torture everyone in this school. I wouldn't be surprised if anyone wanted to, after treating so many people like shit.. But, if you excuse me, I'm going to go follow YOUR two best friends and go comfort them,' she finished. She was so shocked that she had just stood up to Alison. No one had ever done that before except for Big A, and that was only through text messages. The whole room was watching them. Everyone was speechless. Mona was just smiling like an idiot and trying to catch her breath. Alison-well, Alison really was speechless. She didn't even move, or flinch. Her eyes even got bigger and bigger as she kept breathing. Clearly, Mona had gotten to her. Especially with the comment about somebody needing to torture her, because someone already was, and Mona knew exactly who that was-Big A. After about a minute, Alison finally moved. She just shook it off, and completely ignored her. She went to her seat, turned around to Emily, and said while rolling her eyes, "What a loser.'

Mona decided to run to the bathroom after Aria and Spencer. She left the room, and started calling for the girls. "Aria? Spencer? Are you guys here?'  

No reply. Maybe they're in the other bathroom, she thought. She went to wash her hands. Next thing she knew, someone wrapped a hand around her mouth, and dragged her into the nearest stall. Mona was trying to talk the whole time, but all that came out were ridiculous sounds. Finally, the person let go after locking the stall. Mona turned around and saw that it was Big A. "What the hell was that for?.she asked.

"That-.She took a deep breath, and continued. "That was for what you did in there. You basically ratted us out with that last comment! She's going to get suspicious! But, I am also proud of you. You finally stood up to Alison. You're now ready for your next task. Follow me..

Mona was so happy. She starting grinning an idiotic, evil smile, and followed Big A out of the bathroom and out the school doors. They were cutting class, but Mona couldn't be any happier. She felt like a bad girl after what she said to Alison, and she loved it.
