Sadie Sink stepped out of her fathers car immediately noticing Millie Brown from the living room window, Millie Brown as in Sadie's new stepsister. They were absolutely nothing alike, but she was trying to be accommodating for her father. It had been almost a year since her parents got divorced. She began to get caught up in her head as she stood in the way of the front door not even noticing she was daydreaming,
"Yeah Hi, could you move? I'm trying to help you move your shit,"
"Yeah! I'm sorry," Sadie felt her face go red
Millie rolled her eyes walking through the house up to Sadie's new room with a couple boxes in her arms, Finn laughed walking into the house mocking Millie's walk making Sadie giggle a bit as she walked in. Her father was sitting in the kitchen setting up, Kelly was no where to be seen, Finn was sitting on the couch, and Millie was walking upstairs with some boxes making Sadie follow
"Hey, could you show me where my room is?"
"God, It's the black door, not rocket science."
"What's Your damage!? Not my fault your idiot mother fell for my father so maybe you should try being nicer and not such a bitch!"
"Excuse me!?"
Millie dropped Sadie's boxes on the stairs making them roll down with some loud crashes
"Oh you're gonna regret that move!"
"Bite me! I dare you!"
Finn pushed passed the two girls up the stairs laughing like he found it truly amusing,
"Trouble in paradise?"
"SHUT UP FINN!" The girls yelled in unison
It was later in the day, around 6:00 pm, aka family dinner time. But, Millie knew that was interrogation time, for all the kids.
"So Sadie, sweetheart do you have a boyfriend?"
"No Mrs Brown, I don't."
"Please, call me Kelly."
"And what about you Millie?"
David turned towards The brown haired girl with a smile on his sweet face
"No, I don't like any high school guys."
"And you, Finn?"
"Nope, just broke up with my girlfriend,"
"You never told me that! Sophia was so sweet, and kind, she seemed so loyal,"
"She cheated on me."
The whole table fell silent. For the rest of dinner it was a little awkward, no more than a little. There was no more conversation and Finns mood went completely south
Mille has just begun to wash the dishes when Sadie came closer leaning against the counter,
"Hey..do you want any help?"
"Why are you being nice? I broke some of your paintings, and vases."
"I don't care. I feel bad, your mothers not an idiot, and you're not a bitch or anythi-"
"It's fine. But, we should make ground rules,"
"Alright, deal. Sure you don't want help?"
"No, but it's your turn next. Meet me in my room in ten minutes, we'll talk then."
