Most people look up to the Symbol of Peace as the greatest hero, I look up to him as my dad. He wasn't my biological father, he adopted me as an infant, but I still love him all the same. Even the biggest pro heroes have families, and All Might wanted the same thing. He's always told me about how lonely he was when he wasn't working, and he knew immediately what he was missing- a home to come home to, not just an empty house. It was our joke that he could've chose a dog instead of me, but when I was ten he ended up having both as my birthday present.

He knew that raising a child would be tough while still being a hero, but he would pay for daycare while he was away for long hours, and I think it mostly made me more of an optimistic individual. He always did what everyone else seemed to think was impossible, and so it was no surprise that we worked so well together as a family. A single father with an adoptive daughter and a now 4 year old Samoyed dog. As if that wasn't hard enough, he also managed to keep it a secret from all of the press, but he never was a completely open book to everyone anyway.

When I was younger I was the first one to get my quirk out of everyone in my school grade. I developed a shape shifting quirk. Not only could I mold myself to be what I wanted, I was able to manipulate other types of materials but it would take more effort to manipulate something like diamonds since they're strong, and sand would be easier to move. My dad thinks that my biological parents had quirks that had to do with moving things with your mind mixed with something relative to earth elements. It was honestly boring sometimes because it felt like I'd mastered my quirk already but then I thought of something else I could do with it.

My dad and I just recently moved closer to the U.A. school so he could teach there, and he urged me to attend so he could see me more for work to make up for all the time of having to leave me for work. It was definitely a dream of mine to go there as well, but I wanted to work for it. I didn't wanna go just because my dad was secretly All Might and he could pull some strings. There wasn't a doubt that I couldn't get in, but I wanted the feeling that I really could do it myself. So I started preparing myself for the entrance exam, however even though I wanted to see if my dad would tell me about what I had to do to get in, he told me no, and reminded me of how I felt about not cheating my way in.

One night, a few months before the entrance exam, my dad and I ordered in for dinner, and he told me about something he seemed to be excited in.

"I didn't wanna keep it from you, but now I'm pretty sure of committing to what I was doing," he began with a twinkle in his eye. I couldn't imagine what he was about to say to me next.

"Oh my gosh, let me guess," I played along, "you found yourself a girlfriend."

"Well no," he frowned, then chuckled, "I found someone who I think would be worthy of inheriting..." I caught the drift. Even at home, he didn't like mentioning One For All, and how he wasn't the natural born hero everyone thought of him as. This did pique my interest though.

"Who?" I questioned with an eyebrow raise. "And what makes you sure?"

"Young Midoriya here," my dad told me, and showed me a picture of a plain looking green haired boy with freckles on his cheeks, he appeared to be crying. "He reminded me of what it means to be a true hero."

"I remember you telling me the story of this kid, wasn't he quirkless one who saved his friend from the sludge monster?" I inquired, hoping I wasn't making that up in my head

"I remember you telling me the story of this kid, wasn't he quirkless one who saved his friend from the sludge monster?" I inquired, hoping I wasn't making that up in my head.

"Yes, and I've been training him since then to build up his body so it doesn't explode when he tries to accept the power," my dad said it so seriously it almost made me feel bad for laughing so hard at the image.

"So what you're saying is you're prepping my future husband to at least have killer abs," I joked around, and earned a laugh from him as well.

"No, no," my dad replied, faking a look of confusion and being concerned. "in fact, would it make him more like your brother?"

"Aw man, he actually seemed kind of cute," I huffed and rolled my eyes, followed by a giant smile. I amused myself too much sometimes, but I wasn't convinced that it was a bad thing. Note to self; Midoriya was a brother, not a boyfriend.

"Well I also want him to attend U.A., so you could totally gain a friend if you end up in the same class," my dad shrugged.

"Hey, I have friends," I defend myself, and we both laugh incredibly loudly, "well I have Honey," I add, and at that my Samoyed picked her head up from her paws and looked at me. I motioned for her to come to me and she did. "I love you so muchhh, yes I doooooo," I pet her between her ears, and got up to give her a treat while I went to rinse my plate.

That night, I fell asleep excited for the future and whatever it may hold.
