It is a little after ten o'clock in the morning and I have just finished watching every episode update of my current anime and TV series. Yeah, anime. Boo, right? Whatevs.

I browsed through my Netflix for any possible good series or movie but, unfortunately, nothing piques my interest. The only Netflix original I'm watching at the moment is Dynasty. Dude, that series is the bomb.

I reached for my phone at the end of my bed when I heard my notification alert. It is specifically for Wynona whenever she sends me a text message. It has been two days since our entrance examination.

Wynona

Lunch. G? 🤩

Wala man lang kahit anong greeting. Ang affectionate talaga ng kaibigan kong 'to.

To Wynona

G if payagan. I'll ask my mum. 😉

I locked my phone then went downstairs. Good thing my mom still haven't left for work. She has her own business, clinic to be more exact. I saw her at our kitchen, cooking what I assume our lunch for later. She sometimes cooks our lunch before she goes to work when she has extra time. My mom is as busy a working mom can get.

Napaisip tuloy ako kung papayagan ba niya akong lumabas for lunch eh ganitong nagluto pala siya. My mom is quite strict when it comes to me going out but when she's in a good mood, she tends to give me positive answers. I'm gonna be in college soon so I'm expecting she's gonna be a bit lenient. Sana, Lord. Dios mio please.

"'Mmy," I called her from behind and she immediately turns to me, still cooking.

"Oh? You finally went out of your room," she states sarcastically, bumaling din agad pabalik sa pagluluto niya. I swear to God I did my best not to roll my eyes because if I didn't, Satan's coming at me any second now.

"Pwede po ba 'ko umalis mamaya?" I asked. I sounded hesitant but what can I do?

My mom didn't say anything. I started fidgeting with my hands. Mukhang negative ngayon, ah?

"Sino kasama mo?" I gulped before I answered.

"Okay," I still answered in a sweet voice. Naku! Hassle talaga mag-paalam!

Now, I have to go to my father for his permission. Talk about bad vibes. Don't mix me with those rebellious teens hating on their fathers (or parents in general) just because they're undergoing puberty. I don't like my father for all the right reasons and I don't want to talk about it.

"Nakaalis na po si Daddy, 'di ba?" I asked. Tumingin siya sa'kin saglit, mockery completely apparent on her sophisticated face.

"Eh 'di i-chat mo? Mga kaibigan mo nga lagi mong kausap diyan sa cellphone mo. Ano ba naman 'yong i-chat mo ang Daddy mo at magpaalam?"

Now, I'm totally pissed off but I decided to keep my mouth shut. Nothing good will come out of it and the last thing I want right now is to not go to that lunch Wynona is talking about. Good God! Why does she have to sound all bitchy? Gemini moms! Ugh!
