Chapter 18

"We have been walking all day without any rest," Fred growls as he jumps infront of me

"Ya, just because the Hokage made you in charge doesnt mean we will losten to you," the other, George, glares at me

I stop and look at them, "Well if you two had showed up on time then we would have stopped. Your the one who wasted your brake time in being an ass. And as for being in charge, well then how about you be in charge," i cross my arms and look at George

"Thats more like it," he smirks and crosses his arms, "As leader i say we stop here for the night and YOU get to keep watch all night"

"Very well," i help set up then go sit up in a tree

Its stupid to camp out on a main road, but they wint listen to me so im going to wait and let them learn the hard way.

The sun had just went down when i felt someone coming. I jumo down and go into there tent and wake them up

"Ugh, what the hell?!" Fred glares at me

"Shh, someone's coming," i whisper softly

They both grab there weapons and went outside the tent. I follow them but once were outside its silent, no bugs or anything.

"Wow, some look out you are," George is the first to put his weapons away, "Since you cant properly keep look out go get fire wood"

Not saying a word i turn and walk away. I hid my chakra then hid behind a tree where i waited and watched the 2 genin

"Can you believe we got stuck with that guy?" Fred sits down and shakes his head

"I know, if it wornt for Jimmy raising his damn hand we could still be in the exams. He deserves more then the broken arm we gave him," George crosses hus arms and glares ag the road leading back home

"Haha, remember how he cried and said 'thats not what teammates do'?" Fred laughed at the thought

"You know," both boys tense up at the new mystery guy voice, "I had teammates like you once before. I killed them"

A man slowly steps out of the shadows smirking evily at my temporary team mates. He had a waterfall head band with a slash through it, he's bald, and in completely black clothing

Fred and George both freeze up in fear apon seeing him

"Too bad you sent your teammate away, he seemed to be the inly smart one in this group"

"Y-Your wrong!" George suddenly gets a burst of courage and pulls out a kunai and charges

The bald man easily grabs George's hand and snaps his wrist braking it to a point that a part of the bone comes flying out

Sighing softly, i silently shoot out from my spot and stab the bald man in his arm. He screams and releases George whos screaming as well

"Fred, get George back. I got this," i get jnto a fighting stance and wait

"You bastard!" The bald man pulls out a sword and charges

I clash my kunai on his sword and look him right in the eye. Giving a small smirk i knee him hard in the stomach then upper cut him sending him flying back. Before he can hid the ground im next to him punching hiz chest makjng hjm lanx even harder then what he was ment to knocking him out no problem

Once i get him tied up i go to George, "How are you feeling?"

"My wrist is fuckjng broken! How the hell do you think i feel?!" He zcreams jn my face

Sighing loudly i pack up our sight then face yhe boys, "Come on, we gotta go back. This mission is a failure"

"No!" George glares at me while clutching his wrist, "Im not gojng bsck with a broke a broken wrist and the mission be a fail. We will keep moving until the mission is done"

"Are you sure?" If he didnt get his wrist heloed soon it could be very bad

"Yes im sure now lets go!"

"Fine, but to finish this we should run the rest of the way without stopping anymore. It could cause us to be on this mission longer, which you done need"

The both agree with me then were off running through the dark night. They didnt complain or test my patients anymore. I think its because George is the leader and with him out Fred doesnt know what to do under then follow someone else, very sad if you ask me

We get to our destination and meet the guy. Everything goes smoothly and we choose to rest for the night there. While the 2 slept i went out to a hot spring and sat in it and thought. Having nice hot water relax your muscles is amazing. I may not be that stressed but i am a little stressed

"You seem like you got a lot on youf mind"

I jump a little and look up quickly only to see non other then Jiraiya, my father's old teammate

"Huh?" He looks at me shocked then narrows his eyes at me, "So the rumors are ture. Tell me, who did that snake knock up?"

"Kathryn (Cant remember if i ever said her name, ill go back and look and if i did and its not that ill change it)"

His eyes widen then soften and he chuckles a bit, "I dont know why im surprised," he leans back and looks up, "Ive caught her peeping on him many times"

"Did you teach her?"

"Hm?" He looks at me with a raised eyebrow

"From what ive heard you peep on women, and make porno books"

"There works of art that tell about the wonders of being an adult," he suddenly jumps up and shouts defensively

I put my hands up and chuckle a little at his outburst. I guess that seemed to calm him down because he sat back down and sighed

"No i didnt teach her to peep, i tried helping her be mord sneaky about it but that just caused Tsunade to beat me up"

"Im sorry," i look down at the water and sigh softly, "For everything my father has done to you and the village. He sent me to the village to be a spy but instead i fell in love with it and its people. You may not believe me but its true, and i will do anything to protect its people"

Its quiet for a while then i hear him gettjng out, "You know kid, your mother told me she would protect the leaf's people also. Though that was before she learned she wouldnt be a ninja. I can see a lot of her in you"

With that he walks away. It felt different hearing Jiraiya say he saw my mother in me. Mahbe its because he grew up with my father and knew him so well yet didnt say he saw my father in me.
