Chapter 1

I walked back to the coffee shop and thank heavens, bakante pa rin ang upuan na iniwan ko kanina. The room is almost filled with students. Most of them are studying because as far as I know, finals is just around the corner. Today is the seventeenth of December and you can feel the pressure just by looking at the students constantly highlighting their books. Speaking of December, one of the reasons why Rouvre is well-known is due to their annual grand and massive Christmas celebration called Paskuhan. It is televised but what caveman needs television when twitter and instagram is flooded with Paskuhan pictures and videos?

I opened my twitter to entertain myself as I wait for my marupok friend, Wynona. My feed never fails to entertain me mainly because I follow a lot of accounts which target market is people who enjoys watching and/or reading two gorgeous men fall for each other and get physical. You might know what I mean. Wink wink.

I fought so hard not to like any obscene tweets because my followers might see how much of a freak I am.

"Huy," someone said then tapped my shoulder from behind. I instantly locked my phone as a reflex action and place it on top of the table.

Umupo sa harap ko si Wynona at nginitian ako na ani mo'y isang aso.

"Halata much? There you go again with your kinks," she teased and I rolled my eyes.

"Wow, ha? As if we're not on the same boat?" I countered which made her eyes roll, too. Yes, we can go from clingy to bitchy with each other. Friends.

"Oh, so ano? What's up? Naka-score ka ba kay Chace?" I asked and the girl went from bitch mode to girly mode. This girl have been crushing on Chace since we were in tenth grade. Woah, so it's already been three years since she laid her eyes on him.

Chace used to be our schoolmate until he graduated senior high. He's now a college freshie and he's a year ahead of us.

"Syempre, 'no! Sa ganda kong 'to? Paanong 'di ako makaka-score?" She then flipped her hair.

"Wow, si teh," I expressed in disbelief. "If that's the case, why are you still single? Why are you still dreaming of doing it with the poor, hot guy?" I teased her and she then again rolled her eyes.

"Panira kang babae ka, 'no? 'Di pwede mag-joke? 'Di pwede?" I chuckled and then waved my hand.

"Charot lang! We both know you're pretty! Dios mio, that's why we're friends!" Bawi ko sa pamemeste ko sa kaniya. She gave me her confident smile and then we started on chatting and gossiping like we always do.

Don't judge us for gossiping. Most, if not all, people do!

Naikwento ko sa kaniya ang nangyari kanina about the hunk chinito, Torque. We both fangirled and, syempre 'di nawala ang pambubugaw sa'kin ng kaibigan ko.

"Luh, si ate girl? Nag-inarte? Poker face amputa. Kailan ka pa naging prim and proper? NEVAH! Bakit hindi mo g-ni agad? What did I tell you? Kapag may gwapo, g lang nang g! Legs wide open, ganon!" I swear to s8n, bubusalan ko ang bunganga ng babaeng ito! It's not that I don't like her choice of words since I talk the same way but she's catching some attention from the nearby students.

"Shh! Tone down your voice naman. Of course I played cool. I don't wanna look like some sort of fangirl. Given his looks, malamang sa malamang ay maraming nagkakandarapa roon. I should make myself different from the other girls. Act as if he looks average and with that, his ego will be bruised and will most likely be curious about you... sana. Pota, ganon mga nababasa ko kaya sana totoo. Kung hindi, I've blown my chance to get close with a total babe," I explained and Wynona seemed to agree.
