What is this that looms over my mind
A feeling of despair that engulf my peace
This void that grows devouring my heart
For your absence took all the warmth
To a faraway land in a time ahead
The light has left and everything seems blank
Groping my way in darkness
I desperately search for You
For a hold that's tight so I wouldn't drown
Your absence is what that I cannot bear
Yet our reasons so clearly understood
But reason takes time
To settle in a weak heart
Not a second pass by where
My thoughts waver from you
How I wish I could rush to your arms
My haven, my home
That's peaceful and bright
