Chapter 7: Meeting Jacob

I called Bella at around 9:30 but she didn't pick up. Maybe she was still asleep. But I couldn't leave it at that. I asked Alice if she can see what Bella was up to. But for some reason she couldn't see her or Charlie. I couldn't work out why. I stared angrily and I rushed into my car and headed to Forks. I couldn't help but worry to see if she was ok.

I drove into her driveway and ran to the door knocking frantically with a worried expression that covered my face. Unaware of an extra car in the driveway. One which wasn't Charlie's cruiser. There was a silence. I knocked again and called Bella's name. After a few seconds the door opened. There stood a muscular copper skinned boy who reaked of wet dog opened the door. I glared at him. He did the same and then I broke the silence.

"Where's Bella?" I almost growled. But then Bella walked out from the kitchen.

"Edward!" she cried and the boy moved out of the way. I pulled her into a hug and wouldn't let her go. I pecked her lips but I wouldn't calm down until I was told what was going on.

"Edward this Jacob. An old friend, we were best friends when we were younger. He just came around to hang out. But I have homework to do" I relaxed a little but my face was still plain. Bella noticed my discomfort.

"Baby, what's wrong?" she questioned. I looked down and she was staring right up at me.

"Nothing love. So do you need help with your homework?" I asked.

"I can help her" Jacob picked up. I ignored him and remained looking at Bella.

"It's ok Edward. But you will stay though right?" she begged. I smiled for the first time this morning.

"Of cause" I replied and kissed her forehead.

Bella walked into the living room and I followed her there sitting myself next to her on the couch. Jacob sat on the chair by the door.

"So what made you come over?" asked Bella.

"I wanted to see my girl of cause. I phoned but you didn't answer. I was worried and Alice couldn't... I mean didn't know what was going on. So I came over to see you were ok" I told her not paying my attention to Jacob in any way.

"Well I'm fine. I just probably didn't hear my phone. Sorry" she gave me an apologetic smile. I returned it.

Bella got up to get her homework. The minute she got out of hearing sight he spoke.

"Why are you here leach?" he muttered. I glared at him it replied.

"Mind your own business dog" I muttered.

"How long have you and Bella been together?" he questioned.

"Few days"

"You better not hurt her, you hear me?" he warned but I wasn't scared.

"I wouldn't dare to hurt Bella. She is my reason for existence, I couldn't live without her" I pointed out.

"Good. You better not break that treaty" he barked and then Bella walked back into the room with a few books and paper. She settled them down on the floor and sat between my legs leaning against the sofa.

"What were you talking about?" she asked looking up at me.

"Nothing important love" I reassured her.

Nothing important? Are you kidding me leach?. This is very important.

Growled Jacob through his mind. I dashed a look at him telling him to shut the hell up.

Wait, she doesn't know yet does she?

He thought again. I shook my head and showed a sheepish smile.

Ok but you need to tell her soon. It will get dangerous for her.

I nodded my head in agreement. Our silent convocation stopped and we regained our attention to Bella.

Sorry it is short but I have writers bloc and it is really anoying. I don't know what could happen next and so ideas would be really helpful.
