Chapter 6: Showing Bella around

I sat in my room. Last night had gone great. I finally got my first kiss with Bella. Though it was for a Dare she kissed me back and I could tell that she meant it. I smiled as I remembered it clearly. Then I got to take her home. That was nice too it was just us. Perfect.

* taking Bella home *

It was getting dark and Bella was yawning every few minutes. "I can take you home if you like Bella" I offered as she leant against me on the sofa, her head resting on my shoulder. 

"Yes please Edward, as long as you don't mind" she asked and yawned again. I chuckled. 

"Why would I mind. It would be my pleasure" I said warmly and gave her my dazzling smile that left her speechless.

We walked out of the house after saying goodbye and goodnight to my family. We drove in my Volvo. She seemed very excited to be in it. 

"This is an amazing car Edward. I love it" she complimented and I smiled. I couldn't disagree, I did adore my amazing car. 

"Thanks" I replied. I didn't drive too fast and let Bella rest in the seat besides me. She drifted off every now and then.

I arrived at her house and picked her up easily from the passenger seat. She moved her arms to around my neck and rested her head to my shoulder. I carried her to the door and opened it. 

"Bella is that you? How was the Cullen's house?" called a male voice. It must have been her dad. Charlie his name was. There were sounds coming from the living room from a football game on the tv. I walked to the doorway. 

Charlie looked up. 

"Oh my. What happened, is she ok?" he questioned and then looked at me puzzled. 

"Yes Mr. Swan. Bella is fine, just tired. My name is Edward Cullen, Alices brother. Me and Bella are friends and I brought her home so she can go to sleep" I reasured him. He looked at me and after a while her smiled. 

"Ok then. You may call me Charlie of you like. Bella's room is just up the stairs" she said and then sat back down. 

He better not try anything when he is up there. I am the head of the police and he better be awear of what can do if he does wrong. 

Charlie mimicked in his head. I chuckled silently. 

"Thank you Charlie" I smiled and took Bella up to her room. I laid her under her covers and kissed her head. I went to leave. 

"Edward don't leave" whispered Bella and looking at me through half asleep eyes. I crouched down by her side. And stroked her head. 

"Bella you need your rest. I promise to be back soon. I am taking you to Seattle tomorrow remember. We can have the while day together if you want. Once the sight seeing is done I will take you to my favourite place." I told her. 

She smiled and leaned up slightly, moved her hand to the back of my neck and pulled me in to her. I kissed her lips softly trying not to think about her amazing taste. I parted our lips and smiled against them. That's when I realised that I had to pull away before... 

"Goodnight Bella" I whispered and kissed her head. 

"Goodnight Edward" she said and laid her head back down on the pillow and shut her eyes. I badly wanted to stay and watch her sleep all night if I could but Charlie would notice that I hadnt left and it was a little to soon. I needed to make sure I was completely in controle for my actions.

* back to normal *

I got myself dressed ready for today. I wore dark jeans, a grey top and my smart jacket. I slid on my black shoes and went downstairs waiting until I was allowed to go and pick her up.
