Chapter 3: Getting closer to Bella

We all remained downstairs until it got to morning. Jasper and Alice had left and come back along with Rosalie and Emmet. Esme and Carlisle would wait until we got to school until they would have their alone time.

Finally it was time to go. I got into my Volvo and drove off to school. I got their earlier than the others. I had left sooner to be fair. Everyone else was fussing about something that I didn't need to be involved with so I left. I parked and leant against my car. Soon a familiar truck pulled into the grounds. I smiled to myself. She was here.

I walked over to her car once she had gotten out. 

"Hey" I spoke and she looked up. Her beautiful brown eyes melting away the nerves inside me. 

"Edward, hi" she seemed a little shocked but called down. 

"So how was dinner with your dad last night" I asked being polite. I did want to make a good impression on her. 

"Yeah it was good thanks. What did you get up to?" 

"Um I went to this lake nearby, whee I say and thought for a while. Then we messed around and annoyed Jasper a little" she nodded and smiled. 

"What did you do to wind him up?" she sounded genially curious which was a good sign. I gained my confidence. 

"We dressed him in a little girls outfit and them made him strut down the living room. I was a very funny sight for us all" I chuckled remembering what he looked like and Bella joined in. 

"Sounds fun. Maybe he would do it again on Friday so I could see." 

"Yeah and then me and Emmet could join him and give you girls something to laugh about" I joked and chuckled.  

"Would you?" Bella asked seriously 

"Really?" 

"Yeah it would be nice to see you" she didn't finish. Was she meant to? 

"In girls clothes?" I asked.  

"Well yeah. Or not, it would be nice to just see you I guess" I gave her my crocked smile and it dazzled her. I felt happy I had that effect on Bella. 

"We will just have to see then wont we" I said playfully.

Just then Roses BMW pulled in and Alice skipped over to us. She smiled and then looked at us both. 

"Am I interrupting something?" she asked. 

"It's ok Alice. I'll see you at lunch Bella?" I told them. 

"Defiantly" was her response I gave her another crocked smile and walked of to change my class timetable before lessons started. Alice had told me about what classes she had. There was just two classes that i didn't have with Bella. That was gym and geography. The first to lessons that we had this morning.

At lunch Alice and Bella walked over to us. Again Bella sat in between us both. We talked about the show that we hosted last night. Jasper and Emmet stayed quiet and looked ashamed in embarrassment. Emmet/Emily was still wearing six year old clothes. However no body really bothered him about it as much as yesterday because they saw how big and mussily he was and didn't want to intrude.

"So Alice what did you have in mind about what you girls are going to do on Friday?" I asked. 

"I thought you already knew" 

"How could he, you only told me this morning. It's not he read you mind or anything" Bella said. I chuckled at that comment so did a few of my other siblings. There was so much she didn't know. Alice didn't want to make the situation any stranger so she spoke answering my question.
