Chapter 4: Tanya

I got in my car and drove to school with Alice. Everyone stayed at home but we chose to go to school to keep the facade. Well I wanted to see Bella and didn't want to put up with Tanya as soon as she got there. Alice came so she could see what was going on and inform us with any news and then warn the family with a simple phone call.

I drove in the grounds and parked the car. We waited for Bella. She drove in to the car park minutes later. Me and Alice went to meet her. 

"Hi Bella" chimed Alice as soon as Bella opened the door. "Hey Alice. Hi Edward" she paused in between say hi to us both. 

"Hi Bella" I said softly and giving her my crocked smile. She was easily dazzled. She came back to reality after a few seconds and spoke again. 

"Where are the others? And is Carlisle doing any better?" 

"Carlisle is getting there. Ur the others stayed home to keep a close eye on him" I reassured her and smiled. She nodded and gave me a flirty smile. I winked at her then Alice ruined the moment, again. 

"So shall we get to class then?" she asked jumping slightly and smiled. 

"Way to kill the moment pixie" I mumbled to low for Bella to hear but perfectly capable for Alice to hear. She hit me around the head quickly so human eyes wouldn't notice but I sure felt it. I chuckled. 

"Let's go" Bella suggested. Alice took her arm and and I walked close behind. Bella looked back at me and I gave he a friendly smile.

"I'll see you at lunch girls. Bye Bella" I whispered the last part to her. She flirtily waved goodbye and said bye softly.

At lunch I waited for the girls before we sat down. 

"Hi Bella, Alice. How was your morning?" 

"Good thanks Edward. And yours?" Bella asked. She was so kind. 

"Very well thank you" I smiled and looked over to Alice. She was her happy self though her mind was worrying. 

Tanya arrived 10 minutes ago in fury. Jasper is trying to calm her and Carlisle is trying to reason with her. She is listening but I doubt taking any of it in. She wants to sleek with you when you get in. 

I nodded my head showing that I had got the message Alice had given me. She smiled to respond. 

We sat down. Bella ate some pasta, Alice and I were forced to eat something so it didn't seem suspicious. So I managed to try and eat an apple. 

"Bella, I am sorry for leaving you yesterday. I didn't mean to just rush off" I apologized again. She turned to me and smiled, understandment shown in her eyes. 

"Edward its fine. If Carlisle is unwell then I totally understand. Family before friends right?" she said smiling 

"Thanks for understanding" 

"It's ok Edward" she said and gave me a little peck on the cheek. She blushed a little and if I could I would have probably have turned bright red. I smiled back at her. 

She likes you. A voice sang inside my head. It was Alice. I could tell she was right. 

Edward and Bella sitting in a tree K.I.S.S... Chimed the voice in side that little mind of Alice's. I cut her off by giving her the famous 'shut the hell up' glare or for a vampire the 'death' glare. I smirked and gave my focus back to Bella. 

"So Bella, what are your plans for this weekend?" she looked up at me. 

"I think my dad is going fishing with Harry Clearwater. So I will be at home doing homework while he is out" she explained.
