Finding My Future • Chapter 6: Showing Bella Around

Start from the beginning

"Someone looks a little to fancy for a Saturday. Meeting up with Bella then Eddie" commented Emmet as I sat down on one of the sofas in he living room. I rolled my eyes at him. He was such a big child.

"So where are you taking her then?" he provoked me until I would answer him.

"I am taking her around Seattle to show her what it is like then to one of my favorite places" I told him trying to hide his thoughts from my mind. He gave me a cheeky smile and I decided to leave the room and see if Esme wanted any help with anything before I left. She said that she was fine so walked about in the forest. I hunted a deer just to me full. Vampires don't usually loose control when they are not hungry.

It finally came to 8:30. I left the house and got into my Volvo. I didn't drive to fast as making sure to give Bella plenty of time to get ready. I was still going over the speeding limit but as much as usual. I slowed down when I got closer to her house just in case I went past Charlie's car or if he was to see me as I drove up the the house. I didn't want to get on the wrong side of him.

I got out the car and knocked on the door. I was welcomed with Bella's beautiful smile.

"Good morning Bella. Did you have a good sleep?" I asked. I noticed that Charlie was not in the house and be had left around half and hour ago.

"Yes I did thank you. Thanks again for bringing me home. I had an amazing night with you and the others. I think Truth or Dare could have been my favorite despite the fashion show which was hilarious" she smiled and I returned it.

"I am glad that you had fun. And I too, did enjoy the game of Truth or Dare" I winked at her then and she blushed.

"Did you have a good sleep Edward?" I tried to think of a convincing way to reply

"Yeah, sure. It was normal" I nodded at the same time. She grinned. "Shall we go?" I offered and let out my hand for her to take it. She placed her warm skinned hand into my ice cold stone hand. I flinched a little but then shook it off.

We drove around Forks and me pointing out anything interesting that wasn't a tree. We chuckled at how little things were here. So we went to Seattle. I parked outside the town in a large open car park. We walked along one of the beaches. After a while I managed to slip my hand into hers. She smiled up at me and I gave her my crocked smile which left her awestruck. We roamed around the town stopping at a small café for lunch. It was a wet and cold day just like any other day in Forks really but today it seemed even wetter than it had been. Bella ordered a hot coffee and a ham toasty. I just had some water and we shared the toasty. Bella eating most of it of cause.

Thankfully the rain came to an end and just left the grim heavy clouds in the sky to hang above us.

"May I take you to my special place now Bella?" I asked and added a sweet innocent smile.

"Sure, I would like that" she smiled.

I dove us to the forest that happened to be I the middle of mine and her house. We walked through it until we came to a clearing. It was a wide open meadow with pure green grass and flowers that blossomed in patches forming a patterned maze on the floor. I brought out a blanket and laid it on the grass so we wouldn't get wet.

I sat down and waited for Bella to join me after looking around at the amazing scenery.

After a few minutes she planted herself next to me. She lay down on her back to look up into the now clear sky. I followed her movement and watched her gaze. It was silence for long minutes.

"Edward? Can I ask you something?" Bella spoke quietly without moving her gaze from the sky.

"Of cause Bella. What is on your mind?"
