Finding My Future • Chaptet 4: Tanya

"Tanya, come back with us to the house. We will talk it out and then you may speak to Edward when he gets in" Carlisle spoke in his stern commanding voice. 

Tanya hissed at me and then was dragged away by my brothers.

Alice and I looked at each other. I sighed but new that I had to face her again in a few hours. Alice smiled at me cheekily. "You love Bella?" I looked down shyly. Forgetting that I had exposed my true feelings out loud for all of my family to hear. 

"Edward? You really love her don't you?" she spoke again. I looked up sheepishly and responded. 

"Yeah, I do, a lot. There is just something about her..." Alice cut me off.  

"There's no need to explain pure love Edward. For it is something that can never be broken. I have it with Jasper and it's the best felling anyone can have" she said softly and gave me a sweet smile. I returned one and then we made our way back to class.

Driving home was a long hard moment. I just wished that Tanya would finally understand that she is wrong. Bella is MINE and always will be. I just needed to knock it into her. Alice saw my stress and placed and hand on mine. I forced a smile.

I pulled into the driveway. Alice rushed into the house to give Jasper a big bug and loving kiss. 

Tanya joined me outside. Everyone else stood on the raised decking watching us. It was me who spoke first. 

"Tanya listen to me. I understand that you have waited for a long time for your love. Though you think it's me I am more than certain that its not and always have been" she hissed harshly. "Let me finish. I LOVE BELLA and will NOT let ANYTHING happen to her. She is my everything and my singer. You will NOT harm her or I will get you" I said strongly and hard. 

"But Edward" she moaned but I cut her off. 

"NO Tanya. That is final. You may be family to Carlisle but not to me, or at least not anymore. Yes we were friends, but that was all in the past. Now I have grown up and found my reason in life" I told her using my low demanding voice. She stood frozen at what I had. Said to her letting it sink in. I started to walk into the forest my back facing her. Knowing that she would follow me without using my power. 

"You don't get away that easily Eddie" she growled and flung herself at me. I turned around, grabbed her shoulders and hurled her towards a tree. I slowly went to her and she ran at me. I lept into the air and she ran through my shadowed spot. I jumped back down. 

Your going to pay for this one Edward. Bella should be destroyed. 

I growled angrily at Tanya's thought and crouched down to fling myself at her. She landed on the floor, back to the ground. I held her wrist in my hands with a tight grip and sat on her legs so she couldn't escape. 

"Take that back" I told her. She knew exactly what I meant by it. Tanya didn't say a word. 

"TAKE THAT BACK!" I shouted slamming her wrists to the floor. She opened to her mouth but nothing came out. I growled loudly at her. 

"ok, ok. I take it back" I let go of her and she stood quickly brushing the dirt from her clothes. I turned my back on her again and went to step when... 

"Right after this" she screamed and ran at me full speed. I waited for the right moment and then brought my hand behind my back and flipped Tanya to the front of me. My arm held her neck tight and my hand clasped hers so she wouldn't escape. 

"Say your sorry and mean it" I spoke harshly to her. When she didn't respond I tightened my grip of her neck. I was about to break it when... 

"EDWARD NO!" Cried Alice. I let go of Tanya and she dropped to the floor gasping for air. 

"I... I'm sorry" she stammered. 

"Now go home. Don't err bother me, my family and especially Bella again. You hear me?" I forcefully said to her and gave her a warning face. Then she nodded. 

"y... yes" she whimpered. I walked to the house and went straight to my room. I heard everyone else come into the house but Carlisle stayed outside and made sure that Tanya would go directly back to Alaska. She promised him that she would. She apologized to him but not for the rest of us. I saw her glance up to my window and have me an aggravated look before running off into the woods.
