Finding My Future • Chapter 3: Getting closer to Bella

"Well I had an idea that we could just watch a movie and play truth or dare with us all" 

"Sounds good. I'll join the truth or dare for sure" 

"Really? You don't normally?" said Jasper. I smiled and gave him a 'you know why' look and he smiled back. 

"WOW, Eddie in a truth or dare game. That's something I gotta see" cried Emmet and started planning things he could do to me. I rolled my eyes.

I could make him kiss Bella or make him take his shirt off infront of her. I can't wait till Friday. Thought Emmet. Great. 

"Really Emmet?" I asked forgetting that Bella didn't know about us yet. 

"Oh yeah, you just wait Eddie boy" I rolled my eyes. Bella looked a little confused but shook it off by telling everyone her idea. 

"I was thinking that the boys would do another show for us to moddle the girls clothes. Edward was telling me how funny it was and I'd love to see it" Emmet and Jasper stared at me not so pleased. I smiled sheepishly. 

"Oh come on. It will be funny. Well for them. What's the harm in giving the girls something to laugh about?" I tried to convince them.

THEY MIGHT TAKE PICTURS AND SHOW PEOPLE!!! They both screamed at me but in mind mode. I laughed. 

"They are not that mean" I retorted. 

"I can see it being great fun. I can't wait" squeeled Alice excitedly as a person or in this case a vampire could get. 

"Great so what time shall I come to yours?" asked Bella. 

"I'll drive you to our from school. One of my brothers will drive your car back to your place and meet us there" Alice explained. 

"But how...?" Bella started Alice cutting her off 

"They will find it. It is a small town Bella. It won't be that hard" Bella nodded and we continued small convosations until the bell went.

Luckily we had Biology next. A lesson when it will just be me and Bella. We walked to class and sat nearer the frot of the class and near a window. We were experimenting on blood samples. Bella became ridged in her seat. I too stiffened at the smell of it. 

"Sir, I am not to keen on blood and it makes me feel faint. Please may I go and get some fresh air" Bella asked politely. He nodded. 

"Do you want anyone to join you Miss. Swan?" she looked over to me. Thank goodness. 

"Please can Edward join me. It calms me down when..." she trailed off. 

"Of cause Mr. Cullen you have permission to go with Miss. Swan. Take as long as you need" I nodded said thank you and was about to leave when Bella grabbed my wrist to pull me out of the door as the smell of blood was getting to her.

We went to one of the benches outside and sat down side by side. 

"Thanks" she almost whispered. 

"It's ok. But I thank you too" I said honestly. She smiled though a little confused.  

"So why did you want me to come? Also you never finished you sentence back in the class room" I asked curiously. She turned a shade of pink but still answered me. 

"Um, well I know you the most out of the class and, you um, I feel more relaxed around you. I trust you" she spoke quelietly but with my good hearing I was able to hear every word. 

"Bella?" she looked up and I gave her my crocked smile. She smiled as I dazzled her. "I like you too" I reassured her. Though that's not what she said exactly and I didn't know if she was thinking it I felt it without needing Jaspers help. We were staring into eachothers eyes, faces not far apart. Suddenly breaking our moment my cell phone went off. I answered it. It was Alice. She sounded rushed, scared and very worried. 

"Edward, its Tanya. She coming without the family. It's not good news. We need to leave NOW! I'll tell everyone the rest when we get home" 

"Ok I'm on my way. Give me five minutes" I spoke and hung up. I had to face Bella and lie to her. I really didn't want to but I had to, to keep our secret. Thankfully, hopefully soon she will understand. 

"Bella, I need to leave. Alice got a call saying that something happened to Carlisle at work and we have to go and see him. I'm so sorry I have to go" I apologized. 

"Ok. I understand. Tell him I say that I hope he gets better soon" I felt so bad I had to lie to her. She smiled weekly. I lifted her head with my fingers. 

"I will see you tomorrow. I Promise" I reassured her. She let out a smile.

We walked back to class and I told the teacher about the incident and he let me go. Luckily for Bella they had finished with the blood testing and were doing something else. I shut the door behind me and looked in the window to see Bella sitting by herself looking a little sad. I opened the door again. 

"Sorry sir I forgot something" I lied. 

"Very well. Go and get it quickly with out disturbing the class" I walked back to my seat. Bella looked up confused. I leaned in and placed a sweet kiss on her cheek. She smiled widely and I walked back to the door. She followed my steps and I winked at her before leaving the doorway. Now that I had left her happy I felt better and rushed to my car to meet the others at inhuman speed but not vampire speed. 

"What were you doing?" moaned Alice 

"Just finishing something before leaving" I smiled, so did Jasper. He felt the warm happiness inside me and a gave me a 'I am happy for you' smile.

At the house we all rushed inside. Carlisle was sitting on the sofa while Esme stood beside him with her hand on his shoulder. We all sat down and let Alice explain the situation. 

"Tanya is coming and she doesn't look happy. She will be hear tomorrow during school time. All I heard she mumbling was Edwards name. She must have found out about his feelings for Bella and is jealous that it was t her he fell I love with" Alice finished and Jasper rushed to her side. He placed his arm around her waist and calmed her down. 

"What are we going to do? Carlisle?" asked Rosalie. He say and thought for a moment. 

"We need to reason her. She needs to understand that Edward does not belong with her. Bella is his singer and nothing will change that" Carlisle's voice was calm but stern. 

"Yes. Let me try first then you may back me up when I need it. Tanya is a stubborn, strong vampire so it will take more than just me to try and convince her. Her thoughts are selfish and wants whatever she can't get" I told everyone and they agreed.

We had our plan sorted. Now we wait.
