Chapter 49 - The Finale [Part 1]

Two people came near me without any expression on their faces.

"These are your parents."

I looked at them in their eyes and clenched my fists.

My dad was a good-looking man, and my mom looked very similar to me. My mind was clouded with negative thoughts.

How could they leave me when I was a child? I wish I had a normal childhood.

I tried to hold back my tears.

It was so embarrassing to cry in front of such a big crowd.

"Why did you leave me?" I asked them.

They didn't answer.

"Tell me!"

"We never wanted you. End of the discussion," my father said.

"Shut up all of you. I don't like such family dramas," Lord Darkness said.

"Valia. My former best friend. How are you? It's sad how your beloved Elizabeth turned to my side but you didn't."

"I am not an evil person like you, Milorad," Valia said.

"I hate that name. Don't utter it."

"No need to worry, Grace. All I need is your blood. I'll kill you and drink every drop of it," he said, making me shudder.

All I wanted to do was say the word Casper had told me and enter Lord Darkness' mind and end him.

Lord Darkness smirked and looked into my eyes.

Now it was my time to smirk, I immediately said, "Selianox!"

My head started to hurt. It felt like my head was getting stabbed with many swords. I screamed.

I found myself standing somewhere where there was a very little illumination. I couldn't even see my hands.

The temperature of this place was very low.

Where was I? In Lord Darkness' mind?

"HOW DARE YOU!?"

Lord Darkness' voice boomed. I had to cover my ears or else they could burst.

"I'll end you!" I said.

Wow, from where did such braveness come to me to say that?

I heard Lord Darkness' laughter.

"Get out of my mind. Don't waste your time here," he said.

I didn't know where he was. I could only hear his voice echoing.

With a deep breath, I started moving forward.

I walked a lot but didn't reach anywhere.

Screams started echoing here.

Blood drained from my face, these were the screams of Andrew.

A door emerged out of nowhere.

I bit my lip and fidgeted. The screams coming from inside that door.

Was Lord Darkness torturing Andrew?

"Grace! Save me, Grace! I'll die."

I entered the room, it was lighted with a lot of lamps.

I gasped.

Andrew's body was kept in a plate, and Lord Darkness was sitting at the dining table with a knife and a fork.

"Would you like to eat some, Grace?" Lord Darkness said.

I ran towards the dining table, sobbing.

My Andrew is dead? I started sobbing harder.

This can't be real.

I touched his face; it was lifeless.

"Andrew, you can't die," I said, placing my head on his chest.

"Oh, my little relative, he is already dead and I am about to eat him. Do you want to eat a bit?" Lord Darkness said.

"Shut up! Shut up! I hate you! You pig!" I started screaming at him.

He killed Andrew. I'll kill him.

I looked towards Andrew, with tears in my eyes. I'll take a revenge. I really will.

My gaze fell on his neck.

I frowned. Where is his dark mark? I haven't destroyed Lord Darkness; how did his dark mark vanish?

"Looks like someone noticed something," Andrew's eyes opened and he touched my face.

Suddenly, Andrew turned into Lord Darkness.

My mouth fell wide open. My heart was pounding.

I looked towards the Lord Darkness sitting on the chair. Two Lord Darkness? How's this possible?

Taking some steps backward, I covered my mouth with my hands in disbelief. I started running away.

Suddenly, Katherine appeared in front of me.

"Aww, my best friend. You don't wanna eat Andrew's flesh then eat my flesh and drink Thomas' blood."

This can't be real.

Thomas was standing beside Katherine, laughing like a maniac.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk. Are you scared of your grandpa?" he said.

I started crying badly.

A few moments later, Emilia's and Gratala's bodies were dangling in the air, screaming very loudly.

"Save us, Grace! We are real!"

"E-Emilia? G-Gratala? Are you really h-here?"

"No, you fool!" They laughed and turned into Lord Darkness.

Thomas and Katherine turned into two Lord Darkness too.

More and more Lord Darkness were walking towards me. How the hell are there so many Lord Darkness?!

"Are you scared, Grace?" They all said in unison.

"Please leave me alone," I said, between my cries.

All the different bodies of Lord Darkness combined into one.

"You have made the biggest mistake of your life by entering my mind."
