                        Chapter 17

Keiths pov

I couldn't sleep last night,I was too happy and exited about Kate being my friend again.Thank the lord! I wouldn't have been able to live with myself knowing she hated me. I woke up around six and changed into my school uniform. I herd clinging cups outside in the lounge. When I walked out I saw Kate wearing a purple tank and her camo shorts. But I went numb when I noticed her hair was down. Holy crap .......She's hot! I had to calm down. Her hair was longer than you'd expect, It came down to the middle of her back and was extremely wavy and shiny. How she gets the spikey look I have no idea." Mornin Keith." I shook my head." Uhhhh yeah... good morning." She smiled and walked to the kitchen. I quickly followed her and when I went through the door almost knocked her down." Jeez Keith calm down." She laughed. I rubbed my neck and looked at her. Smiling happy,her eyes filled with joy and excitement too. " Are you ok? " She placed a hand on my arm." Yeah Kate ,I'm fine." I pulled her into a hug and nussled her neck. She gasped before doing the same.I love you Kate.....I want to tell her that so bad. She pushed against me and I whimpered." Heh, I have to set the table Keith." She walked and picked up the food then carried it outside. After like twelve seconds everyone ran out of the dorms to come eat. She made chocolate chip waffles,maple suryp, cinnamon French toast, strawberry suryp, oatmeal filled with all kinds of berries, Biscuits and gravy, eggs, bacon, and sausage fried in bacon oil. My mouth was watering. I didn't even notice Kate left to change. She came back with her hair in her original pigtails and sat next to Rhyth and Seren. I was sitting in front of her with Isaac and Kellen at either side of me." Kate what would it take to get you to open up a restaurant instead of being a ranger." Kellen at asked. Dude your gonna die now. Kate smiled sweetly at him and said." Nothing you say or do will make me change my mind about being a ranger Kellen. And if you ask again I'll castrate you." He dropped his fork" S-Seren? Is she messing with me or..?" Seren giggled." I don't know kell . Kates removed a few balls in her day I should say." Isaac and I choked on food while the girls laughed."W-What?!" I asked out of breath. They rolled their eyes." She lived on a farm remember? You get a bull there's only one way to turn them into steers." I looked at Kate who winked, I gulped and looked down. Kellen left to throw up I think and Isaac just sat silently picking at his food. After breakfast Janice told Kate she'd clean the tables and we walked to class. I couldn't bring myself to look at Kate at all during class.My god! You'd think she'd tell me something about that'   Oh hey Keith I can castrate animals' Now I'm terrified of her.

Kates pov

Class was going soooo slow. I sighed and took notes on grass pokemon. Keith kinda looked on edge. I shrugged it off and continued to take notes.

(After class)

I was laying on the couch petting pachirisu. Isaac was sitting next to me reading a book and Keith was sitting in a arm chair in front of me. " KAAAAATTTTEEEEE!!!!" I heard Rhythmi voice call. " Isaac. Take this pillow and smother me with it." I asked pleadingly and handed him the pillow . He looked at me with it wide eyes." Hurry before Rhyth gets in here." He stuttered for words." Fine I'll do it my self." I yanked the pillow back and another hand yanked it from me." Oh no you don't Kate" Keith said and sat on the pillow. I pouted " Meanie." He glared at me" I'm not mean." I stood up." I'll just have to kill myself... in the girls dorm!!!" I booked it to the dorm with Keith right behind me. I got to the door before he grabbed me and pulled me back. " You won't be killing yourself on my watch." I huffed and crossed my arms." When are you not on watch?" He laughed and pulled me closer." Never." Then he nussled the back of my neck. I sighed and leaned into him.I'm glad were friends again. "KATE GET YOU COUNTRY @&& IN HERE!!!" Rhythmi yelled from the main hall. I groaned and pulled away from Keith. I walked out and saw her and Seren looking at the floor." Uhhhhh...What are you guys doing?" They both looked up at me." Spider!!!!!!!!!Get rid of it!!" I raised a eyebrow and walked to them. On the floor was a little green spider. I picked it up and they screamed"Don't pick it up!" I rolled my eyes."How else am I gonna get rid of it?" They huffed and left." What were they yelling about?" Isaac asked walking up behind me with Keith. I Showed them the spider" Kate you are some kind of wacky chick." Keith said looking at the spider." Why thank you." Then I took the little thing outside and placed it on a tree. Keith was still staring at me in shock." What? Is it that shocking I picked up a little spider?" He shook his head and held out his hand. I raised a brow and took it." What's with the gentleman like attitude all the sudden?" He glared at me." Did you want me to do this?" He picked me up bridal style and ran into the main hall me yelling at him the entire time.Thank god nobodys in here. " He stopped in the middle of the hall and stared at me. His eyes full of love and happiness." Put me down." He smirked and put his forehead on mine." Make me." I smirked back and wrapped my arms around his neck pulling his face closer, his eyes widened and he gulped. When our lips were a centimeter apart his grip loosened.My chance to escape! I jumped away and ran to the lounge room yelling."Thanks for letting me go Keithy!"

Serens pov

I was helping Kate cook pot roast. " Did you get rid if that spider?" She paused in her carrot chopping and rolled her eyes." No its in my pocket Seren." I huffed" I was just wondering!" Kate finished cutting the carrot and pot it into the pot with the rest of the food." Alright Seren set the timer for one hour." She set the pot in the oven while I set the timer. Kellen came in" Seren" He sang my name. I sang back" What Kellen?" He wrapped his arms around my waist." I'll leave you two alone." Kate said walking out the door. I tried to wiggle out of Kellens hold but he held onto me tighter." I-I need to tell you something." He whispered. I pushed on his arm to get him to let go, then I turned to look at him." Something wrong?" He wouldn't look me in the eye." I... Seren... umm...well you see...I like y- a girl." I raised a brow." You like a girl?" He bounced a little bit." Yyyyeeess!" I smiled at him." Well I'm glad your not gay sweet heart." I patted he cheek and giggled when he glared at me." No I'm not gay!" He growled are me." Well who's the chicka ya like?" His ears reddened." Uhhhhhh that's not important right now!" He looked at his watch and said." Oh look at the time. I have to help Isaac with his studies so I gotta go bye!!" He dashed out of the kitchen.Isaac never needs help with studying ....and if he did he sure as heck wouldnt ask you for help....I wonder who he likes?

Kates pov

I wonder how the kitchen love birds are doing? I was outside and walking on the wall that surrounded the school grounds. Pachirisu was on my shoulder snuggleing into my neck." Hey Katy how the hell did you get up their!?" I looked down and saw Keith. I nelt down." I flew." He growled at me making me purr. " Na dude I climbed that tree over their." I pointed to the tree to the left of us. He nodded and ran to climb it.Heh he's so cute...Damnet quit thinken that!! He was having trouble climbing and I saw him fall. I snorted and walked to where he was." You alright ?" He glared at me." Fine!" I laughed lightly and jumped off the wall causing him to freak." What the heck Kate!" I helped him up." What? It didn't hurt." He looked at me with scared and worried eyes. I want to hold him close and never let go. I hugged him." See I'm fine Keith" He pulled me closer and looked at me." Your still coming to the dance with me right?" I giggled and nussled his temple." Yes I'm still going with you." I could feel him relax against me. I pulled away from him him when I herd my name being called." Kate theirs someone here to see you. " Janice said." I'll see you later Keith." He nodded and let me go. I followed Janice to the staff room to see Rick and a boy talking to principle Lamont " Oh here she is, Kate I hope you enjoy your three days off with the Hawk family." My eyes widened. Craaaaaaap I forgot about that! I walked up to Rick and shook his hand." Kate. This is my son Dusten." He gestured to the boy next to him. I shook Dustens hand" Its nice to meet you." He looked at me." Its nice to meet you too Kate." He said in a southern voice just like mine. Hmm , country boy.
