Chapter 7 - Only Time Can Tell Part Two

"Which country caused World War one?" It was first period and it started off with a double of Modern History. Yay! Not.

My teacher was none other then Miss Agnes a monotone machine who lived and slept with her dust collecting history books. She wore three layers of foundation to cover up the zit fest that would never disappear of her face and she sadly tried to hide the masculine mustache that began to form above her lips.

"Miss Christiansen...Miss Christiansen, I'm talking to you." No response on my behalf.

"Emma!" Oh shit. I dozed off. I open my eyes as I feel her hot breath against my face. EW!

"Err…umm…"

"Hurry up we don't have all day to waste!" She spat in my face.

"Ahemgermany." Someone coughed supposedly. Then a light bulb popped above my head. Ding!

"Germany?" I answered putting all my faith in this so-called cough.

Miss Agnes raised one eyebrow, pressed her lips in a thin line and said, "That is correct." She turned around and walked back to the board shaking her hips as she went. Close call.

I turned around to find my saviour. There he was with his adorable goofy smile. His face was in a massive grin. Yes you guessed right…Mr Yates. Wait. Why was he even in my class!? Does he have a free period? He's not even in my year! What the hell!? I groaned and turned around. I spent the rest of the lesson awakedrawing stars and love hearts all over my page. I looked like a love sick puppy. But I promise I'm enjoying this single-dom.

Briiinnngggg. Riiiinnnggg.

The bell sounded and I jumped from my seat throwing all my belongings in my bag and running out of the class. Food time baby. I was happily making my way to the cafeteria before someone comes beside me and our steps become consistent.

He's been doing this for a while. Not leaving my side I mean. He follows me everywhere like a stalker. It's pissing me off. And if it's not him then it's Jeremy or one of his soccer mates. But I guess it was Aiden's turn to walk me back and forth from classes today- basically everywhere!

I stop abruptly and he stops with me, "No. You are notdoing this to me today! It's been two weeks! I can take care of myself thank you very much."

He doesn't reply but continues to stare at me with his moonlight eyes and flashing white grin. "I dislike you very much now." I said, before turning on my left foot and walking away. But in two seconds he was by my side again. No matter how hard I tried or how hard I slapped and whacked him he would still follow. I tried beating up Jeremy too but it was no use. I'd only end up hurting myself. Darn.

I slipped into a booth in the back corner of the cafeteria and pulled out a chocolate muffin. Chocolate you beautiful thing.

School hasn't been so bad. I think a few people know what happened because they act all soft and quiet around me treating me as if I was fragile. It annoyed me but I don't say anything to them. I know they were probably just worried. Especially Alanna. She shrieked and looked like she was going to pull out a shotgun and shoot Kale. She was crying with me when I was re-telling the story to her.

She was more pissed then I was. She had that same look that Jeremy and Aiden had when they caught Kale. It scared me to be honest. They just had this thing in their eyes that I couldn't understand or interpret.

But besides that school all round was okay. The teachers treated me as usual and the principal said that the counselors were always there for me. Pfft I ain't seeing no shrink buddy. I hated shrinks personally. So that was a no go. Some good did come out of dobbing in Kale though. He got expelled from school - the police reviewed all the tapes from the security cameras. I still thank God every night that he created someone smart enough to invent one of those things.
