This glossary is still under construction and will be edited and revised as the story progresses. Here, you can find unfamiliar names and their meanings. I try to explain each term well enough during the actual story, but if anything seems unclear, this glossary is your friend!

Also note, these are clean cut, basic definitions. The story itself delves deeper into many of these terms.

NAMES
(species, titles, etc.)

  ⚮ ⚮

Auguratricis (or Augura) [Uh-goo-rah] : Highest rank of witches, wizards and sorcerers(ess) alike. They are the oldest and first kind to have practiced in the gift of magick. Having an Augura on one's side would be wise when facing higher powers of evil. Though they are strong, they have their superiors who they have no power in killing, but can (to a point) dilute their strength.

Diuxal [Duke-zahl]: The strongest, most powerful beings in existence, save Inusir. They dwell in a home defined as literal paradise. They fight for good and aim to rid the universe of all things evil. Diuxals are superior to all beings of light and engage in battle with enemies that are too powerful for lesser beings to handle. Their lives are everlasting, spending innumerable eons among the stars.

Hunter: Magickally enhanced humans, trained in the arts of slaying creatures of darkness. They sometimes work alongside with auguratricis' and usually serve to eliminate lower, immediate threats to regular humans. Hunters were created by the Auguras centuries ago, seeking to give some humans a better chance in defense.

Inusir [in-you-seer]: The most powerful beings to have roamed the great universe, save Diuxal. To fight one would be a sad way to perish. They do not have strength in numbers, with only a few hundred in existence. Their strength is in their core and entire being. They are raised on the diet of beings of any kind. They can take shape of any form both monstrous to beautiful alike.

Movadunn [moe-vah-done]: Generals to the High Evils, serving them closely. They are seen far more than the High Evils, and even command their own armies to lead and work for them. They are powerful, with few greater enemies.

Oziren: Ahzrael's great blade, forged in an orb of pure light, birthed in the great skies of Vae'lon. Oziren was created specifically for Ahzrael, by Ahzrael. Oziren is among the first of a few special weapons birthed from light itself. Its power only unleashes when held in Ahzrael's hand. Oziren has felled several tainted creatures, lost souls, and hellish spawns.

The Prymes [pronounced the same as 'Primes']: Diuxals of higher authority, power, wisdom, and vigor. Currently, there are five members as it has been for millions of eons. The Prymes reside in a great tower of Vae'lon, overseeing all Diuxals. They scarcely interact with other Diuxals, and only involve themselves in battles in need of supreme celestial power.

Strifs: Heinous creatures acting under the direct orders of the movadunn. They are ravenous and ruthless, with no rational mind that influences their actions. They are remorseless and will attempt to slaughter all and anything it its path.

PLACES/LOCATIONS

Nalevias [Nah-lay-vee-ahs]: A second, sub-region (see Vae'lon) in the world inhabited by the Diuxals, and only seen by Diuxals.

Srxal [Srawl. Think crawl, but replace c with s]: The Forsaken world. It exists far into the darkness of a forgotten universe. The Srxal inhabits never-ending torment to all who are sent there. Only the highest beings can pass through the border of Srxal unscathed and leave at will.

Terevii: Smaller area in Vae'lon, similar to an island.

Vae'lon: Home of the Diuxals. A great and just realm, full of glory and paradise. The strength, love, and power of the Diuxals thrive this land. Thousands of Diuxals live close and far apart on the massive realm where the sky never seems to end and the land reaches far into time. No other being has ever set eyes on Vae'lon, but many have heard the stories of everlasting harmony thriving though the high realm. The only way in and out is through the grace and power of a Diuxal.

Via Lactea: Roughly translating to "the road of milk", or more commonly known as, the milky way galaxy. The galaxy inhibited by a world of humans.
